We can do nothing without HIM. Those HE calls will give the testimony of JESUS. THose HE calls.

GOD will call those that HE wants. It's not something for us to gloat who have been called. But it's for us to be that living example that show others how great HE is; from the heart and eventually to the physical. The testimony of JESUS in our lives is our key to know HE is calling us. Our faith and prayers is our telephone call to HIM, and HE brings the increase to us. All is HIS.

I watched part of the “Passion of the Christ” last night. I can never make it through the part of where Pilate has him flogged. Not sure how authentic the movie is to what actually happened, but much of the script does seem to come straight from scripture. Anyway, the overwhelming sense I come away with when watching this movie is my own guilt about what He endured for us. I should probably make a point of watching it every Easter, because I always forget that Easter isn’t about Easter bunnies.

It's not something for us to gloat who have been called.

We were Called out of the Dead; out of the Spiritual Deadness of Humanity. For God is in the business of resurrecting the dead and with folks like us, he has begun the process by taking away our hearts of Stone and giving us Hearts of Flesh which love Him. And regenerating the mind so instead of being in enmity with Him, can hold faith and understand the things of God.

Gloating is not in the picture when it is out of the Dead.

Reminds me of a saying when our children, squabbled over the size of the cookie they got for a snack, said 'He got more, it isn't fair'. She said, what is fair is for All of you to Get NO COOKIES.

God says He will "have Mercy on whom He will have mercy and Compassion upon whom He will have Compassion" (Romans 9:15). We do well to remember that it was out of the Dead that He did this.

AMEN! LOL! I could not get passed the “ peter’s denial “ part when I saw it on DVD at a friend’s house. I kept taking that part back about 20 times.

Best to meditate on HIS love( which involves sacrifice, grace, mercy, and more...) everyday.

19:9 And he said to me: Write: Blessed are they that are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith to me: These words of God are true.
19:10 And I fell down before his feet, to adore him. And he saith to me: See thou do it not. I am thy fellow servant and of thy brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Adore God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
