Prayers for your family. May he stay our of harm’s way and your family grow stronger.

My husband and I took the two young grandchildren when my stepson and daughter -in-law (both full-time Army) were deployed in two different directions. She said she could refuse the assignment but we said No! Go on!
They were one and two, both in diapers, and it was one of the happiest times in my life. We had them four months. What a joy they were! And we bonded with them as we never would have been able to otherwise.

I recently had a touching moment. A friend’s son just got rotated back home. I thanked him for his service, but he surprised me by thanking me for my service (Vietnam era.)

2) obey Jesus
3) be kind to your spouse
4) prayer with faith in “yes”, since there is no “maybe” or “no” answers from God. I don’t see it in the New Testament.
