Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe that Muhammad was an inspired teacher raised up by God to teach His word.

Was JS illiterate also?

Extend a hand to a bunch of murderous thugs....NO thankew. Islam is a worldwide scourge that must be removed.

Yet, the Jews rejected Muhammad as a prophet, and denied his preaching as parallel to Moses' religion, as he claimed. They insisted that the Qur'an could not be a revelation, nor Muhammad a prophet, and that they believe only in what God has given to them, as they were told by their ancestors, and resisted Muhammad's claim of being the last prophet. They declared that to be a prophet, he must prove that he received permission from God to change the Bible by making miracles, and Muhammad could do nothing.
Moreover, Jews and Christians exerted pressures on Muhammad to join them, although they did not recognize authenticity of his prophetical inspiration. Their claim to be God's chosen people was rejected. Allah gave his religion to the Jews, and took it from them, for they were transgressors. The same occurred with the Christians.
This was a serious challenge to Muhammad, and the only response could be that the deviations were in the Jewish part: they had concealed the coming of Muhammad and altered their Scriptures. To deal with that, the new religious community obtained its independence by referring to the pure monotheistic religion of Abraham, which Allah had given to Muhammad, the last prophet.
Then, after his great success in Medinathe split from the Jews, and the battles of Badr and the Trench, Muhammadriding on the waves of political achievements and military successes, had begun to operate as a new religious leader.
Political Islam is Islam's ideology about unbelievers, kafirs... This gives a rough estimate of 270 million killed by jihad
So the LDS supports Islam, won’t fight or stand against the intrusion into America?
And Romney is supposedly the LDS King of Kings soon to become?
Really? Mormonism and Islam have completely opposite views of God, almost like mirror images of one another. (This is not a good thing; the opposite of an error is often another error.)
Mormonism says there are as many gods as there are sands on a seashore. Islam is stridently unitarian, so much so that they think Trinitarian Christians are polytheistic.
Mormonism thinks that faithful Mormon men become gods in their own right. Islam think that even the idea of God having an eternally begotten, divine Son is blasphemous.
If Islam is "God's word" then Mormonism certainly isn't, and vice versa.
Hamas, Hizbollah, Muzlim Brotherhood, Taliban, Al Qaeda, Mormans and Catholics all worship the same God...Strange bedfellows...
Hardly. Catholics believe in the Trinity. Mormons believe in three gods out of millions they claim exist. Muslims regard the Trinity as blasphemous.
On the other hand, Muslims and Mormons both believe that the Church Jesus Christ founded personally on Peter and the Apostles, the Church that collected and canonized the New Testament, became hopelessly corrupt -- despite Christ's promise to preserve it -- at some early age and had to be "reformed" by a "prophet" armed with the "true gospel".
Not they both deny the Divinity of Jesus Christ. In revelations, IMO the 12th Imam=Mormon “Man Mighty and Strong”=The Anti-Christ.
Mad Mo and JS were kindred spirits, no doubt.
