Father above, through Jesus Christ Your glorious throne is to us a throne of grace, and in this confidence we come.

Lord, we pray for our military, asking You to shield and care for them. Let them know Your kindness and Your strength.

Lord, we pray for Chuck Colson's family, that You will comfort and support them.

Father, when Your people are in a desert land, You make water flow to them from the rocks. In a barren and howling waste, still You care for Your children; You guard us as the apple of Your eye. Like an eagle that hovers over its young, so You spread Your wings to catch us and carry us. In faithful love You will lead us through every valley and desert, till we reach the home You promised us. No foreign god is with us; You alone do we worship, You alone do we acknowledge as God and Savior, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.

Dear Christ Jesus, We are all mindful of the uncertainties of our times in this nation you have blessed, and that also of our soldiers in foreign lands with the uncertainties they face. ...It is to these we come before your throne of Grace and Mercy now as a people called by your name.

We thank you for still blessing our nation and keeping us safe, but Lord there's enemies within our nation operating, as well as overseas, often hidden behind masks and deceiving many who might otherwise recognize them and act against.....

..... There seems to be a cloud of deception over our leaders which we have attempted to bring to their attention and too often ignored or brushed aside. It's become difficult to identify who is for us and who is against this nation. .....it is not those we know to be enemies which trouble us as much as those who hide and wear a mask of deception..... But you know each one by name...

....Therefore we boldy ask that you reveal them to those who have the authority to act against....and grant those who can act the will and the power to do so...before it's too late.

May you show this nation mercy Lord, as those who are willing fight the good fight...from those over seas, to our countrymen here at home,.. to the politicians who represent and governors us...as well Lord, all those who sit as leaders in our churches....rise them up Lord with courage and strength which can only come from you Lord....

Let us not go down in defeat Lord, ... we turn to you with hope and prayer that you're light will once again shine brightly in this land....and that it may not be too late.

Open the Sea Lord...provide our nation with a way to escape what looks to come, not for our sake Lord, but for your Glory and Honor to once again rein Supreme in the United States of America.
