Recently a global warming fanatic (who now uses the term, “climate change” since there is no proof of man-caused global warming) made a shocking statement: "Any rational being coming to our planet from outer space would say ‘There is a species here that has gone insane.'"
Like most fanatics, he makes some gargantuan leaps in his thinking especially when he makes an assumption of space aliens even existing; then he presumes they are rational! After all, if humans are not rational, why would we expect make-believe aliens to be? Humans are not rational and I agree that any close look at our society would tend to indicate that we are also insane!
I seldom agree with environmental fanatics but am inclined to think he may be correct. So what evidence suggests that space aliens might think we are a planet of insane people?
When we kill our unborn, even those who live through an abortion, yet we refuse to execute premeditated killers and child molesters!
When we punish the wealthy with exorbitant taxes, then wonder why they close their businesses or move them to a more business-friendly nation!
When our politicians make laws that oppress us, tax us, and intrude into our daily lives, we continue to believe their promises and then send them back to make more oppressive laws!
When governments take money from the producers and give to the parasites, then advertise to the parasites to accept more money from the government!
When we claim to be color-blind, then pass laws to give special privileges to people of color!
When every sane person knows that committed Muslims are obligated to control the world using terror if necessary yet officials refuse to even identify them as Muslim terrorists!
When airport “officials” aggressively search screaming five-year-old children, while Middle Eastern men walk to the airplane unbothered!
When confessed rapists get probation while tax “cheats” get ten years in jail even when they are not “cheats!”
When police handcuff Kindergarten children for unruly behavior!
When homosexuals are given special privileges and are protected by government, then former homosexuals who have “kicked” the perversion are treated with scorn and even the loss of jobs!
When we are forced to show tolerance toward homosexuals, pedophiles, transvestites, and other abnormalities, then those same people show no tolerance to those of us who think they are at least odd, or queer, or perverted! If I am expected to be tolerant of their beliefs then why should they not be tolerant of mine?
When children are forced to attend schools that are totally funded with tax dollars, then the same parents who finance the schools are prohibited from determining policy in those schools!
When people risk their funds to start a business without help from any government agency, then that same government thinks they have the legal and moral authority to tell business owners how much they will pay their workers, what age those workers must be, and what benefits they must provide!
When states pass laws permitting citizens to carry arms and “stand their ground” (as they should) yet attempt to put a man in prison for life if he protects himself against a teen-age thug who laid aside his skittles and tea to break a man’s nose and pound his head into concrete!
When preachers are supposed to preach godly living, yet some use the most profane, vulgar words while they are preaching to others!
When a preacher takes a vow at his ordination to preach the Christ of the Bible, then spends a lifetime ridiculing both Christ and the Bible as he accepts a very generous salary and perks!
When citizens elect an “empty suit” without any credentials as a top official and then citizens sit back and do and say nothing as their country is led into the discredited Socialist/Marxist orbit!
When the government pays farmers not to plant certain crops and tells others to destroy crops, milk, cheese, etc., yet talks about hunger in America! Obviously, the loonies have taken control and your business could be next.
When our government gives billions of our tax dollars to our enemies who are determined to destroy us, then kicks our friends while kissing our enemies!
When state and Federal officials discuss, debate, and disagree about closing our southern border to keep out jerks, jihadists, and junkies!
When the President appoints top officials to run our government who are screaming Marxists, Socialists, racists, and tax cheats (the real ones)!
When the Federal government pays people to search and molest travelers, yet puts child molesters in prison for doing it for self-gratification!
When Black race-baiters tell us with a straight face that it is impossible for Blacks to be racists but all white people are so infected!
Well, most sane people will agree that it appears that most people, especially those in authority, are insane. If there are space aliens, why in the world (or universe) would they want to contact us! They may think insanity is contagious. And who knows what we might do to them!

Ronin, I received the article by email subscription. I was only assuming that there would be a link to it at that site. I recommend signing up for Dr. Boys’ email subscription. If it is not somewhere on that site, though, I am surprised. I’ll check myself.

Well, that is a good reason for me to post the subscription articles on FR, which I know we have permission to do, so long as we include the information that is found in parentheses at the end of the article.
I could find some other way to authenticate the articles, I suppose by asking Dr. Boys directly. He is familiar with us and our ministry.

I loved C.S. Lewis’ space trilogy and like him think that any aliens would stay away simply because we are fallen and live where Satan is allowed to work. Will we be surprised when the Messhiah rules that we get to meet any aliens? Just IMHO and great imagination.

I was reading on another board and they posited that every alien world gets “a Jesus”, and whether they accept him or reject him seals their fate.
