Did you mean to post this on Democratic Underground? ABO!! and O will lose!

No, he didn't. JimRob agrees that a vote for Romney is a vote for the death of America. I do, too.

I'm with you. Obama and all of this evil minions must be defeated, no matter what it takes. That's job one.

Then we'll turn our attention to keeping Romney on the straight and narrow and turning the congress more conservative.

Diamond, thanks for the powerful quotes (post 244) affirming the role of Divine Providence in the founding of our nation.

billva quotes (post 250) with approval Conservative Vermont Vet, "I'm very close to bagging it with Free Republic as there are way too many here who want to put so called "Principles" (phony though they may be) above the survival of our Country."

You can see how Romney is dragging the Republican Party into the very shadow of insanity, when good Republicans believe that living by principle will destroy the country. This is a very sorry state of affairs. As if obeying the Laws of God could be a "phony principle."

billva says, “You make one idiotic post after another.”

I see that you have never studied the principle of Divine Providence, and you are not aware of the central importance of that principle, and thus, you are in an untethered state where you can be tempted to trample on it, in pursuit of the mirage of victory held out before you by an individual who fits the definition of a false christ (Romney). I would encourage you to take some time to study the principle of Divine Providence, and come to understand this truth, that the temptation and manipulation of the Children God to ignore this central principle, is the root cause of all the problems that America faces.

CatherineofAragon says, "Some of you folks who are hysterically pushing Romney are beginning to behave more and more like leftwingers. That really ought to tell you something."

This is absolutely true. I have debated homosexuals and their sympathizers on many forums, and while there are some exceptions, the general rule they follow is just to bash their opponents with mud balls of character assastination. Here we have right on the table this principle of Divine Providence, a shining jewel, and they can't bring themselves to even address it. If all of this is so absurd to them, they should be able to stand up and tell us why Divine Providence is not a principle we should be concerned with. Not one Romney supporter has even come close to addressing the issue. And that should tell them something.

I believe I found your blog, HomewardBoundJournal dot com.

I’m impressed by most of it, but confused by the LightHouse Keepers. I think I’d better understand where you’re coming from if you could explain who Master El Morya is. Thanks.

billva says, “Yes it is, but you also have to start wondering if some of these folks aren’t Obama supporters in Conservative clothing.”

This comment goes to show you that over the course of your life thus far, you have spent zero time trying to understand the principle of Divine Providence. That you have no basis of experience or knowledge that would indicate to you that the person who brings up the principle of Divine Providence is actually the best friend of your soul, and the best friend of America. Again, read the First Inaugural Address of George Washington. As the man who led the American Revolution to victory, he was a firm believer in the importance of Divine Providence, that America would have never been established without it. My thoughts on the subject are in harmony with the beliefs of George Washington on this subject. And when you characterize these beliefs as absurd, you are voicing opposition to the beliefs of George Washington, something I know you don’t intend, but this is true, because of your lack of knowledge in this area. Again, I would encourage you to read George Washington’s inaugural address, and then come back and debate this issue on the basis of our founding principles. An invitation to reason, that is all that I am placing before you here.

Diamond says, “The Old Covenant Law was nailed to the Cross - in its entirety. It is not longer in force.”

I think this statement needs some clarification. The Master Jesus Christ referred to the need to obey the law on many occasions. My whole argument here is really based on the proposition that we are required to obey the Law of Moses on the subject of Sexual Relations, that this law remains in force. And a nation that rebels against the Law is not qualified to receive the blessings of Divine Providence. Perhaps the harshness of the judgment related to the breaking of the law has been mitigated by the advent of Christ, but the need to obey has not been eliminated. The need to encourage obedience has not been eliminated. The principle of repentance was surely carried forward from the old to the new. Jesus said he came to fulfill the law and the prophets, not to destroy them. In relationship to Mary M. Jesus stopped the people from stoning her to death, but he also said to her, “Go and sin no more.” Are we still on the same page?

I particularly find interesting the one from John Jay that it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation, to select and prefer Christians for their rulers. He calls it a duty. If that is true and wise then it would exclude both Romney and Obama from consideration for my vote because Romney is a Mormon, not a Christian, and Obama is just a crypto communist, wearing a christian mask, or whatever mask happens to suit him at any given moment.

Of course this is not to mention, as Finny has pointed out, Romney "state-run health care, cap-and-trade global warming ecotyranny, forced acceptance of open homosexuality everywhere from kids' schools to the military, appointing activist liberal judges, and the most chillingly barbaric of all, making tax-subsidized abortion available on demand." Ditto from Obama. I trust either of them about as far as I can throw a Bösendorfer grand piano.

Cordially,

Let me just use this post to answer several of yours to me.

First, I am not about to debate you on any issue, your mind is closed or you are hiding who you really are.

Either way debating someone who is putting your turn on events is a waste of time and I am not going to do so.

But anyone who thinks it's better to have Obama than Romney has their head stuck where the sun doesn't shine.

My whole argument here is really based on the proposition that we are required to obey the Law of Moses on the subject of Sexual Relations, that this law remains in force.

We are not required to obey the Law of Moses because that Law was nailed to the cross. It was only intended for Israelites anyway. We are required to obey the Law of Christ. You can, for example find every one of the Ten Commandments except the Sabbath Commandment repeated in the New Testament. The reason for that is that the Sabbath was the SIGN of the Old Covenant. Just because the Old Covenant is no longer in force does not mean that the New Covenant does not have Commandments or condemn the same sorts of evil forbidden in the old Covenant. But The law of the Spirit of Life has set us free from the law of sin and death.

Look at it this way. We're not under the Articles of Confederation anymore, but that doesn't mean that laws against murder and sexual immorality are no longer binding.

Cordially,

Why in your opinion did the Master Jesus Christ refer to the Law of Moses on several occasions and teach respect for that Law?

What a bunch of BS. Romney loves America, unlike Obama and his wife that hate America.
