The issue of homosexuality doesn't divide believers, it exposes that tares and the goats.
it's interesting in a way. Religiously, doctrinally we know the h lifestyle is wrong. Biologically it makes no sense either. It was tolerated in ancient greece, but not celebrated as another kind of marriage -- marriage was marriage and fooling around was fooling around even in the pederast culture of Sparta.
If folks want to make gay a lifestyle choice, then they need to leave Christianity (or islam or Judaism) -- they can become Hindu or form their own religion (note: Hinduism doesn't actually say anything about gays, but there is no such thing as a gay 'marriage' in Hindu culture -- however there is no injunct against homosexuality per se).
They can have their own "civil unions" -- I don't care.
But no, they want to change our definition. Why?
