There are no “good” people.

hmmm..... we are 'good' because of God's grace, i.e. while our nature is fallen, it is fallen from the 'good' because it was created by God and from God is only good. While you are grammatically correct, I would say that there are people who strive to be good at various levels.

Thanks for posting BibChr. I had the same feeling as Pyro; I thought this approach was a bit too analytical. But then I’m not an evangelist or preacher nor do I have that gift. In the end I suppose God created us with different ways of expressing His gospel so that all will be saved.

I defiuantely don’tr run away from calvanism, I concider myself partly calvanist, mostly baptist- Calvanism is spot on onm some subjects liek you mentioned, as well as few other subjects as well-
