Dear Everlasting Father, How very great is Your goodness to us, You are Our Fortress and Glorious LORD! Blessed be Your Name! Thank You, LORD of Glory, for this day, and all the many blessings You have given us! Thank You, for another day that we can gather together in prayer for our American Heroes and our nation. We lift up to You, the needs of our Troops, and with the utmost reverence, we ask that our beloved country and her leaders return to the Christian values and truths that set her on a course to greatness. Please forgive the sins of our nation! May we recommit our lives to serving and pleasing Almighty God, Jesus Christ our LORD, The King of Glory! Please open the eyes and ears of our leaders in Washington D.C. to the Voice of the Holy Spirit! May they come to realize all authority comes from You, LORD Jesus Christ, according to John 19:11, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above.Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” Thank You LORD for Your mercy towards our land and our Troops.
God of all comfort, we ask that You continue to hear our prayers for our Troops. Please protect our Military day and night with Your amazing grace. We ask that You surround them with Your presence, favor, love and the Power of Your Holy Spirit. Please build a hedge of protection around every man and woman serving the United States, while in uniform. Thank You for their courage and service. Please continue to keep them from fear, and to overcome the evil of the enemy with the help of Your Holy Spirit. How we give thanks to You for these men and women of valor! Thank You LORD!
Beloved Redeemer, we ask for Your peace and comfort to be with the families of the Air Force and Navy members that were involved in the Colorado shooting. We pray for their safety and healing.We ask for healing and compassion for every person that was involved in this horrific shooting. May their hearts turn to You, the Great Physician, Healer of every wound and heartache.
We ask this all in the Beautiful Name of Jesus Christ, Our Blessed Hope, amen.
