Absolutely! The book is a prop. The sentiments behind sending it are real and not insensitive.
Insensitivity isn’t an evil, or even a moral failing, by either side. the Christians did what they had to do, he did what he had to do.
But the Knesset member, based solely on what I read here, was the ‘hateful’ one, if that label must be applied.
And who really cares?
