Franciscan U. was one of the colleges my daughter applied to.
It looked like almost the only employment in Steubenville, barring the jail.
Nice Victorian houses with neatly kept yards, only the paint is peeling and roofs failing because people can’t keep them up.
Steel mills with no cars parked.
UPS offering employment - union shop - mandatory dues at an extortionate percentage.
The opposite riverbank carved into a stripped, oppressive cliff for the highway, walling off the world, instead of the wooded bluff there once was.
One of the saddest towns I’ve ever seen.
Due to slight Masonic jurisdictional differences around the world, this symbol does not always look exactly the same to all Freemasons.
Some jurisdictions call this symbol the Square and Compass, (non-plural) and a few jurisdictions omit the "G" at its center.
But, no matter its slightly different look, all Freemasons are in unison as to what this symbol means to them within the fraternity.
The Letter G stands for "Geometry", which is the mathematical science upon which Architecture and Masonry were founded.
Have a nice day, Heathens.
I perceive a threat to me, my family, friends, loved ones, and all that hold dear. When does it become our Christian duty to rise up en masse and slaughter the enemy within the gates?
No, the thing on the Steubenville logo is a stylized representation of the Veterans Memorial Bridge over the Ohio River. It doesn’t have anything to do with Freemasonry.
The Franciscan University of Steubenville should change its name to the Franciscan University of Ohio. Stop giving free publicity to the city of Steubenville.
Steubenville leaders asked Franciscan to create a new symbol to be a part of the city's logo, Franciscan declined, because the university is strongly associated with and recognized by that symbol.
In other words, FUS isn't ashamed of the cross of Christ and isn't interested in participating in the de-Christianization of society. :-)
Hopefully you are right.
really? why?
