Creepy Computer-Generated Avatar Greets Travelers At Newark Liberty
CBS New York ^ | July 27, 2012 | Unattributed

The future was among the arrivals at Newark Airport on Friday, in the form of a computer-generated greeter at the gate.

Travelers met “Libby.” She’s Newark Airport’s newest — and perhaps most chipper — customer service rep. You may have noticed that she’s a bit shallow, and she’s completely two-faced, but she’s always smiling, and she never complains.

“Hello, and welcome to Newark Liberty International Airport. You have arrived at Terminal B,” the avatar says.

God tells us that in the period of time commonly known as the "Tribulation" and right before He returns, there will be a person who creates an image of the Antichrist and that image will speak.

He did not tell us exactly how that image would come about, just that it would.

Now if the world now has the computer technology to create an image of a person that can speak, and that technology enables Revelation 13:15 to come to pass, which it will, despite all the denials of those who equate the Bible with Aesop's fables, then intelligent, reasonable people, especially those who believe that God tells the truth, can see that technology and know that Revelation 13:15 can now be fulfilled.

God doesn't have to say anything about computers. He told us what will happen, and knew that His people who would be living in the generation in which the prophecy would be fulfilled would see the stage being set and would know what is happening.

It's really just that simple.

Well, your question can be interpreted in a couple of different ways, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

The "they" who are busily building a one-world government couldn't care less if people don't like what they're doing. Just like "they" don't care if people don't want to be forced to have their paychecks directly deposited into a bank account instead of getting a paper check, and just like "they" don't care if people don't want their nations bankrupted from massive, intentionally accumulated debt, and just like "they" don't care if people don't want their guns confiscated by the UN, and just like "they" don't care that the majority of Americans don't want a government-run health care system - the "they" will have their new world order, their one-word government, just like God said "they" will, and each and every human being on the planet will live under the jackboots of the "they" and the one man who will run that one-world government.

This thing at Newark airport is simply the beginning of conditioning the people to accept holograms that can talk - just like direct deposit, when it started, was the beginning of conditioning people to accept a cashless society. The stage-setting for the fulfillment of Revelation 13:15 has begun.

It's all incremental, and it's all in the process of coming to pass. Just like God said it will.

I suspect the Biblical image will be far more amazing and compelling than a clumsy CGI of a woman on a screen, equipped with voice recognition and rudimentary mouth or facial movements greatly aided by anti-aliasing in order to mimic the appearance of an actual person speaking.

Truthfully, there have been speaking images for over a century, now haven't there? It's the interactivity and apparent intelligence of the image that is somewhat disturbing. While I appreciate your keeping watch and attempting to alert people regarding matters of potential prophetic import, a digital greeter in the airport at Newark just doesn't quite rise to the level of alarm that it appears you're attributing to it. A step along the way, perhaps, but it's no herald of the Antichrist.

It's really clear that you would benefit from believing that God tells the truth and has the compassion on man to tell us what is going to happen so that when we see it happening we will know that He is God and that if some of what He says is true, then all of it is true, including the part where He tells us that those who die without knowing Him as Savior will spend eternity in hell.

It's clear that you would benefit from believing God instead of lamely attempting to ridicule and dismiss those who give proof that what God says is absolute truth and the fact that the signs Jesus Christ gave us to look for for His return are in the process of happening.

It's really clear that you would benefit from believing God.

Considering the neighborhood that airport is in, I doubt that they could find any locals that wouldn’t cause complaints - so they were kind of stuck with her. The attitude of the locals out there is FRIGHTENING.

None of us knows what the "image" spoken of in Revelation 13:15 will turn out to be, but the point is that the technology exists in our generation to create an "image" that speaks. That technology existed in no other generation.

This fact, combined with all of the other ongoing fulfillment of signs that we were given by Christ for His return and all of the other stage setting, tells us that we are the generation that will see the return of Christ.

Just like direct deposit and debit cards were the rudimentary beginnings of what we now have - injectable RFID chips and tattoos that can be etched on the skin (the Greek word for the "mark" in Revelation means "etching") which carry the same information as the RFID chips, and which enable people to buy things without cards or cash, and the fact that JC Penney is now eliminating cash registers and cashiers in favor of various cashless ways of paying for purchases tells us that when God says that there will be a economic system in place that enables one man to know if a person has taken his mark or not is absolute truth and is in the process of coming to pass. The only way that can happen is if people are forced to make purchases through a computer without using cash.

And JC Penney is only the first to implement this; they will not be the last.

The truth is there for all who want to see it, and the prophecies we were given to watch for for the return of Christ are in the process of happening. This "avatar" at Newark airport is all about conditioning people for acceptance of the future commonality of these things, and for the future "image" spoken of in Revelation 13:15.

Believe it or not - we can either believe God or deny and laugh at the realities of what is happening. We can either take God at His word or reject His warnings.

Jesus said the time of His return would be like the days of Noah. Noah and his family entered the ark alone, with no one else choosing to escape the judgment by believing what God warned. This thread is proof that Jesus' words are absolute fact.

That technology existed in no other generation.

The technology has existed since the 1950s. So what?

We can either take God at His word or reject His warnings.

What does this mean? If we believe what God says then he won't let it happen?

All I see on this thread are Luddites wringing their hands over a slightly new application of existing technology. It COULD be what's described in the Bible, therefore that technology is EVIL!

There were speaking images in “Gone With The Wind.” That movie came out in the thirties, more than a generation ago. Technology is neither bad nor good, it’s the purpose and the use to which it is put that enters the moral sphere. You’re running the risk of ridicule for crying wolf, here, which is a disservice quite in opposition to your stated intent. Christians running around screaming about a digital greeter in the airport at Newark is crying wolf, no matter how sincere the belief. When the actual wolf arrives, no one will pay any heed due to such prior hysterics. A disservice, as I said.

The technology has existed since the 1950s. So what?

Why wasn't it put into practical use like it is now? And which of the other signs Jesus gave us was happening in conjunction with the avatar technology in the 1950s?

What does this mean? If we believe what God says then he won't let it happen?

No, everything that God said will happen will happen. The issue is is that when people are warned about what is coming, and when the fact that the events of the Tribulation are beginning to come to pass now, and proof of that is presented to people, will they believe what God said and come to Him for salvation so that they can escape the coming judgment, or will they, like the people in Noah's day, laugh and ridicule and deny and choose to go through the judgment?

All I see on this thread are Luddites wringing their hands over a slightly new application of existing technology. It COULD be what's described in the Bible, therefore that technology is EVIL!

And all I see are people on this thread fulfilling the words of Jesus Christ when He said that the generation that exists when He returns will be like the days of Noah. Like I said on a previous post, Noah and his family went into the ark alone. The people then ignored and ridiculed God's warnings about what was coming just like they do now. They were warned and they chose to go through the judgment.

No one is against technology. But when we have the technology now, in our generation, that is sophisticated enough to put into practical use, and that technology just happens to match the warning in Revelation 13:15, it is the fool who laughs and denies instead of taking God at His word and taking Him seriously and realizing that this current age is rapidly coming to a close and everything that God said will happen will happen.

The facts are there for people who want to see.

When the actual wolf arrives, the people who read this thread and denied and ridiculed it will remember the warning that was given and hopefully will come to Christ for salvation.

I make no apologies for obeying Christ in getting the word out that the time that He makes Himself available for salvation is coming to a close. He Himself said:

“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. “But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. (John 15:18-22)

I have read the end of the Story, and I know Who wins. This present world system, with it's rejection of Christ and all things having to do with Christ, is coming to an end. And I know the One Who I have to answer to and Who I have to please, and it's not any human being.

For all the ridicule and denial on this thread, there are those who will silently read and take the warnings seriously and will seek Christ because of it. Those are the people who this thread is for.
