The Republican Party’s platform is expected to include support for a two-state solution in the Middle East.
The platform committee, meeting in Tampa, Fla., on Tuesday, rejected three amendments that would have removed language supportive of a two-state solution, according to a delegate who put forward two of the amendments.

Isaac Targets Florida, Eastern Gulf

I guess the Republicans should check Genesis 12:3 to see if they can find an exemption for themselves for the curse God sends on those who curse His covenant nation before they add the dividing of God's land to the party platform.
My Lord says different..It is time for those who know, to exempt themselves from the god of governing entities who rule this world!
Create the separate state, shut up the Palestinians and get ourselves out of the mess.
Cut off foreign aid to Israel, too. Modern countries don’t need billions of dollars in aid. Cut off all aid, for that matter.
I find it odd that the strongest supporters of Israel are condemned while Obama and the Democrats complete abandonment of Israel gets NO mention from the complainers.

How many times will the Palestinian "Authority" have to say and show that they will not rest until Israel and the Jews are wiped off the face of the earth?

I find it odd that the people who have historically claimed to be the party of Christianity have thrown in with Democrats in rejecting Scripture and what God has to say about those who act to harm Israel and the Jewish people.
There are many oddities going on these days.
What is new is supposed "conservatives" going into hysterics about it while staying oddly silent on the Democrats complete abandonment of Israel during the 0 regime.
I’m fine with it, as long as the “second state” is called Jordan and is across the Jordan River. Oh... we have that now.
The whole middle east “peace” process is a farce. It’s time we let Israel off her leash, stop meddling in her affairs, and let her take out the trash like any other rational nation would have years ago.

Obama has slashed US foreign aid to Israel to only 3 billion dollars per year and the people and State of Israel suffer.
There must only be one state in the Middle East and that is Israel as she must return to her orginal biblical borders.
I see it was added for President Bush’s reelection bid. When was recognition of Jerusalem as the capital removed?
There are no such thing as “Palestinians”. The simple fact that you would use the term makes me wonder what your motive is.
If the Republicans had any brains, their official convention platform would consist of this:
1. We stand for the dignity of every human being
2. We believe in people
3. We oppose poverty and unfairness
4. We support truth
And nothing more specific than that.
Don’t give ‘em anything they can hang you with.
Romney recently said in Jerusalem “A nation has the capacity to choose its own capital city, and Jerusalem is Israel’s capital.”
Pretty clear where he stands. As far as I know the GOP platform has never been amended to remove the requirement that the US Embassy be moved to Jerusalem
A “two-state solution” is stupid when one state wants to murder every living person in the other state, so let’s not take that path with Israel. Now, if the far left would go for a two state solution in the United States, that would be a great option. Decent people don’t want liberals dead, we just want them out of our wallets. Socialists don’t want us dead, they just want what they see as their share of what we produce. Separate us from them, and we can happily live our own lives, while they happily submit to an increasingly powerful and intrusive government.
I did not see it in the 2012 platform, but I am not sure I had the full version. I know it was in the 2000 platform.
The fact that the "conservative" Republican party, which has obviously lied to the American people over the last decade in claiming to adhere to Scripture when they have a platform that includes dividing God's land in the face of a promise of God to curse anyone who harms Israel and the promise that the nations who participate in dividing His land will be judged, continues to keep the dividing of God's land in the platform and the fact that the Republican presidential candidate shut down all efforts to remove the dividing of God's land from the platform, exposes the Republicans to be on the same level as Democrats.
Who are the “strongest supporters of Israel”? And where have they been condemned?
