{Church of England}Bishop posts YouTube video in favour of gay marriage

Rev Alan Wilson, the Bishop of Buckingham, suggested accepting same-sex unions could “potentially enrich” the institution of marriage.

His comments further inflamed the debate between church leaders after he called on them to “get our head around blessing gay people’s relationships.”

Dr Wilson, who has been an outspoken advocate of the Prime Minister’s plans to legalise gay marriage, broadcast his message in a three-minute clip on YouTube.

..He said: “It all comes down to how we see gay people and how we see God

"We don't actually believe gay people are sick or stunted or criminal. We don't believe God is an angry old man out to get us.

"Let us stop behaving as though we did. Recognising gay people are equal means they won't dilute or spoil marriage but potentially enrich it."

Translation: We don't actually believe in the outmoded concepts of right and wrong... and neither does God.

Why should the church bless sin? any sin? Because it’s popular? Is it the church’s job to go with the flow of pop-culture? Of course not.

Besides the Church of England stopped being a religious institution a long time ago, it’s more of a social club... I remember “Vicar of Dibley”!

When the church begins to outright advocate for sin based on political correctness (right and wrong seen from the world’s perspective, not God’s), it’s time to find a new one or get out.

Every time one of these twits blurts out something, the Catholic Ordinariate, in which Anglicans can join the Catholic church, but still practice their faith the Anglican way, gets new members.

I wish someone kept score of how many bishops, priests, and congregants left the CofE over its perversity.

If Britain ever gets a truly conservative government, the Catholic church should politely request a whole bunch of its churches, and even cathedrals, back.

God knows gay people are sick in spirit and we know it, lets quit pretending that they are normal, sin is sin but abnormal is abnormal which means sick.

Some physician, some healer of souls. Runs into somebody with a serious disorder and refuses to make a diagnosis. Diagnostics is not nice, I guess.

Every person who has fallen away from the path blessed by God, is sick and in need of healing. I sin. I repent. I seek the Healer.

Which reminds me, I need to get to Confession.

BTW, do Anglicans "do" Confession?

Well, if they're like Catholics, the answer is: not enough.
