That’s my point. Jesus did stuff in between the manger and the cross. He also did stuff AFTER the cross. In fact, most of the stuff he did was in places other than the manger and cross, but so many in our nation know nothing about those things. I don’t think anyone is going to get spiritual enlightenment from a movie, but this generation gets information from visual sources better than from reading and listening.
Since you aren’t a Christian, you aren’t the target market I’m thinking of. I’m concerned with that 80% of Americans who say that they are Christian, but only 20% actually attend church. That’s a lot of people who claim to follow a Savior they don’t even know. They’re the ones who don’t need to see the Red Sea parted again but need to understand the Upper Room. They need to know the Holy Spirit more than the Law of Moses.
