SD is a miliyant MormonISM apologist, so the behavior is explained int hat reagrd. She has a hate thing goin' on against anyone who would question the cult of Joseph Smith. One of her articles at FR a few years ago was 'They shoot Mormons don't they'. Without the chip on her shoulder, SD would just float away perhaps.
