I’m taking nothing away from the Bishop—His words and insights are accurate and very much appreciated.

I did, however, live in Fairfax VA, right next-door to Arlington VA, in the late-80’s through the mid-90’s. At the time, Arlington was filled with middle-class and upper-middle-class liberals who derived their living from the Federal government. That demographic has only grown larger in the years since I left.
