For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. Romans 16:19-20
You divided the earth with rivers.
The mountains saw You and trembled;
The overflowing of the water passed by.
The deep uttered its voice,
And lifted its hands on high.
The sun and moon stood still in their habitation;
At the light of Your arrows they went,
At the shining of Your glittering spear.
You marched through the land in indignation;
You trampled the nations in anger.
You went forth for the salvation of Your people,
For salvation with Your Anointed.
You struck the head from the house of the wicked,
By laying bare from foundation to neck. Selah
You thrust through with his own arrows
The head of his villages.
They came out like a whirlwind to scatter me;
Their rejoicing was like feasting on the poor in secret.
You walked through the sea with Your horses,
Through the heap of great waters.
When I heard, my body trembled;
My lips quivered at the voice;
Rottenness entered my bones;
And I trembled in myself,
That I might rest in the day of trouble.
When he comes up to the people,
He will invade them with his troops.
Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NKJV
Prayers for our Heroes and our beloved Nation.
Amen to your prayer for our American Heroes and For Our Nation.
My childhood piano teacher was a stickler for memorization. Being able to play a piece without error was not enough. I had to play several pieces flawlessly by memory. Her reasoning was this: She didnt want her students to say, when asked to play, Im sorry, I dont have my music with me.
As a child, I also memorized Bible passages, including Psalm 119:11. Due to my limited understanding, I believed that simple memorization would keep me from sin. I worked hard at memorizing verses, and I even won a Moody Bible Story Book as an award.
Although memorizing the Bible is a good habit to develop, its not the act of memorizing that keeps us from sin. As I learned soon after my winning efforts, having the words of Scripture in my head made little difference in my behavior. In fact, instead of victory over sin, knowledge alone generated feelings of guilt.
Eventually I realized that the Word of God had to spread through my whole being. I needed to internalize Scripture, to hide it in my heart the way a musician does a piece of music. I had to live the Bible as well as I could quote it. As Gods Word spreads from our heads to our hearts, sin loses its power over us.

Lord Almighty, please strike down the evil infesting our land and our planet and eviscerate this metastasizing cancer. We have invited Your wrath from turning away from and mocking You. Deliver us, dear Lord, we beg of You. Amen.
Amen & amen
We are all so grateful for your obedience.
Amen, and Amen, my Dearest Sister in Christ; I Love these Scriptures.
May our Lord Help us all to Look to Him with Hearts of Faith in these Uncertain and Evil Days.
'May the Blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you.' (2Tim.3:18)
God bless you, faithful sister, for standing in faith for God’s mighty, merciful and good hand in healing our land and protecting our military.
