It's interesting that in the figures based on frequency of attendance they didn't break out Hispanics as a separate group. Based on the attitudes of the Hispanic folks I see at Mass every week, I think it's safe to say that the Catholics who voted for Barry were at least 80% those who seldom if ever attend Mass no matter what other group they might be a part of.

Re: this last sentence...not so...CNN exit polls said that the vote breakdown of people who attended church weekly was 59-39% Romney.

That's about 2 out of every 5 who went Obama's way.

Given that black Protestants were what I estimate to be about 43% of the overall Protestant vote, yeah, I'm sure that blacks were 2.5 times the number of other groups to represent that 39%...But that still leaves a LOT of others -- Latino Catholics, white Catholics, and white Protestants, who were also part of that figure.
