I used to teach pre-school, and I can attest that even an adorable two-year-old can be a monster if they are not receiving proper discipline and direction at home. The child can become a vicious, mean, bully, which causes the other children to hate them and not want to play with him (or HER!). This, of course, escalates into rejection, and finally, loneliness and bitterness. The child who is never corrected grows up rejected. Just my humble opinion based upon observation.

"I will turn my eyes away and show no pity. I will repay you for all your detestable sins. Then you will know that it is I, the Lord, who is striking the blow (The Lord Who Smites)." Ezekiel 7:9
