The vote was narrow -- 64% of the laity voted for it, less than the 66% needed. The "bishops" and "pastors" overwhelmingly voted for this and there was a pastor on BBC who said "we will fight to get this overturned" -- so, the vote counts for bupkiss
what is needed is for the Africans etc. to leave, form their own Church if needed.
