If atheists want to celebrate the Holy-Day of Christmas without Christ, by all means go right ahead. That is their right. But their "right" to Christmas without Christ ends at my right to celebrate Christmas with Christ.

If they want to worship a make believe, fat guy in a red suit, and spend oodles of money they don't have, to buy gifts for people that will forget the gift in a week, I won't stop them. And I'll still wish them a Merry Christmas the same as anybody else.

I don’t know, let the atheists waste their money. It may unwittingly drive more people to think about Jesus, and whether they celebrate the holiday for secular or religious reasons.

It is a sinful billboard, to be sure, but I don’t know if I’d blame Lamar advertising. I think I might try to put up something like:

Have EID without Mohammed! It’s ok to have a holiday without a false prophet!

And see if Lamar would accept it. If not, the other one should be taken down.

Well, I guess if you can have morality without God, I guess you can celebrate Christmas without Christ. Neither is philosophically coherant, but what else is new today?

I cannot fathom while this little punk MUST get the word out like this - why MUST they do this? It’s like a kid that cannot resist putting his hand in the cookie jar. In my 47 years of Catholicism, I have never pushed my faith onto anyone else.

Every “atheist” I know celebrates Christmas exactly the same way Christians do. My daughter in law even goes to church and sings carols.
But she is always quick to lecture on the myth. Frankly she is more angry at God than she is sure He doesn’t exist.

This ad does so many things beneficial to atheists beliefs, or should I say non-belief. Insult Christians and Christianity; it is a put-down and mockery to believers by displaying a photo of a suffering Jesus on the cross, and equating everything holy and redeeming in Christ’s death to the mythical Santa Clause... I could go on and on. I’m sickened by this. I just encourage everyone to contact Lamar and make your feelings known.

In general, every major world religion has a retention rate of around 70%. There are slight deviations with usually, the older the religion, the lower the retention rate. For example, someone raised in the Catholic faith has about a 67% probability of remaining in the faith whereas somebody raised a Baptist might bump up to 72% or so.

Atheism's retention rate, however, is less than 40%. And it only gets worse after they die.

Frankly these people like to flaunt what they think is their superior intellect. They are so smart they don’t need to lean on or believe in a “myth”.

I get offended when these idiots want to tear down nativity scenes and any reference to God. Guess they should stop using currency that says “In God We Trust”.

1st Amendment works both ways. I am a Christian, but protesting against this is anathema.

Bingo! This is attention whoring from an organization founded by Madalyn Murray O'Hair, the original "atheist" attention whore. These people would never "stand on principle" versus Islam and get their throat slit. They are counting on the fact that Christians and Jews come from the Judeo-Christian tradition.

See my post #13. In a nutshell, it is because you are comfortable in your faith. They aren't in theirs. So their only "solution" is to denegrate others and drag them down to their level.

Sort of like the gay mafia. They got sodomy legalized. Then civil unions. Not being satisfied with that, they now seek to redefine marriage. Their eventual goal is to turn scumbags like Jerry Sandusky into heros for teaching little boys their "true" sexuality.

I read where a liberal stated that CHRISTmas was too religious and the HOLYday made her uncomfortable.
