Catholic beliefs differ quite a bit from non-Catholic beliefs here.
Hey, do you ever ask anyone to pray for you? To get well? For your children? To find a job?
That is the most wrong explanation of what it takes to be a saint that I have ever read. You are right if you are describing what it takes to be declared a saint by the church. But the church recognizes that anyone who dies without the stain of mortal sin on their soul becomes a saint.
Not according to the bible you don't. Saints are all fellow Christians. Asking them to pray for something does not involve invoking the dead.
Catholic beliefs differ quite a bit from God's Way in many things.
WRONG as it is against God's Word. God's OWN children already died 'in Christ' here on earth and now HE lives in them. Praying to any other than The Father is idolatry - paganism.
