Well said, JAKraig. Also “Have not our increases in technology, advances in the arts, and in agriculture and defense caused us also to forget that this world is cursed and that thus it is not our permanent home?”, that’s true as well, pastor, however, we were created in the image of the almighty, the CREATOR, we cannot help but create ourselves, given whom we’ve descended from. We reflect His image, His awesome creativity but a spark in us but nonetheless a spark. But we do tend to forget this isn’t our permanent home, I’ll give you that.

You and I are making the same point Hulagirl(BTW My Wifr’s family is Hawaiian),Man was created in the iimage of God,and must create and excercise dominion over creation. However in a fallen state our creativity is often put to the service of forgetting God.And of course as I told JAK, obviously Jesus is the ultimate answer of God to the curse.
