Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

In This Passage, which was quoted by Herod's Scholars to the Wise Men, The Prophet Micah Reveals the Birthplace and Tribe of the Messiah. He Also says that The Messiah would be the "Ruler of Israel", that is, a KING. In a jealous rage, Herod decreed that all the new baby boys up to the age of 2 years be slaughtered in Bethlehem.To this day, the People of Bethlehem remember those Innocents, and there is a cave right near the Church of the Nativity that is dedicated to their Memory as their final resting place.

Legend has it that St. Jerome sat in that cave and translated the Entire Bible from Hebrew and Greek into the Latin "Vulgate", or the Common Language of the day. Having been inside that very cave, I can tell you that I do not doubt either story.
