We were discussing a principle, that being whose wishes should prevail in this matter. We were not discussing how likely it was that a Muslim ceremony would be performed.
My 9 year old daughter was baptized against my wishes. Her mom is a believer in Christ, and so am I. But we had been separated for about 2 weeks. The last person I wanted to baptize her was the pastor of the church she was going to.
You answered your own question with scripture, then you present a long post denying that very scripture...Repent and be baptized...No babies...
The Philippian jailer whom Paul and Silas had converted to the faith was baptized that night along with his household. We are told that “the same hour of the night . . . he was baptized, with all his family” (Acts 16:33)

The entire household believed and the scripture said they all must believe...No babies...
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If you don't or can't call on the Lord, you will not be saved...No babies...
One of you guys posted this verse to prove that baptism is all it takes to be saved, justifying infant baptism...

You are free to believe anything they tell you but God is clear that no babies get baptized...No repentance, no babtism...
Of course you can't be baptized into the Methodist or the Lutheran denomination...There aren't any of them dumb enough to believe that...It's only Catholics who think they can be baptized into a religion...
The reality is that no one who gets a legitimate baptism gets baptized into a religion...We get baptized into Christ...

It was you who introduced the specter of a Muslim ceremony. I merely commented as to its unlikeliness. As in, find me one Muslim hospital in the US.
That being said, as to the principle of staff at a Catholic hospital baptizing a Jewish child, I’ll reiterate:
“I would think it highly unlikely in this day and age for staff at a Catholic hospital to baptize a child, or that a dying child would be in the hospital without his/her parents at his/her bedside, except in the case of a severe emergency. In a case like that, an unidentified dying child might be baptized in a Catholic hospital’s ER. But I don’t think Jewish parents of a sick child who take their child to a Catholic hospital have anything to worry about.”
As fate would have it, I have had personal experience taking a critically sick child to the ER at Georgetown University Hospital, a Catholic hospital. The last thing the staff there was worried about was my son’s religion. They wanted to save his life. And did. I was not asked about his religion until he was admitted, and at that it was for informational purposes only, so the clerical team from our (or any patient’s) faith would be advised about which patients might wish their ministry. That is pretty standard protocol at any hospital.

It has happened within current lifetimes. A family friend was hidden as a child with a Catholic family in France. Her parents were murdered by the Nazis. After the war some a cousin came to adopt her, but the local authorities refused since she had been baptized and the falsified records were used to prevent her family from taking her back.

My Catholic brother and SIL decided to baptize their non-Catholic, non-religious son’s newborn daughter (who was healthy BTW and not in any imminent danger of dying) but didn’t tell their son and daughter in law about it until a few days later when my SIL casually mentioned it to her DIL. And my nephew and his wife were really ticked off about it. It caused a big fight and as a result, they were not on speaking terms for nearly a year.
As a non-believer I didn’t think it was any big deal and actually thought that my brother and SIL’s intentions were heartfelt and sincere and that they meant no harm and tried to get them all to patch things up, which they eventually did. But I also understood my nephew’s POV – “She is my daughter, I am her father, and if I want her to be baptized; that is my and my wife’s choice and our responsibility, not yours”. I think he and his wife were more insulted about what they perceived as my brother and SIL implying that they were not good parents for not having their daughter baptized and especially not baptized Catholic and doing so without discussing it with them and doing it in secret behind their backs.
FWIW, my brother and SIL, who know I am not a practicing Catholic, probably know I am an atheist although they won’t admit it, send me a religious Christmas card every year (beautiful art work BTW) with a note that they have donated money in my name and to have me added to a novena at their church. It doesn’t bother me at all as it makes them feel good and I know that it is sincere.
I also have a co-worker who at Christmas gives all of us in our HR department a donation through her church - Church of the Brethren; a donation in our names to a Brethren charity that provides crop seeds and live stock to “poor” people in Africa. I find that slightly annoying, not so much for the religious but political implications, but I just smile and say “thank you”. I figure she’s going to donate the money anyway. OTOH, one of these years I might turn the tables and make a donation in her name to a cause I believe in. : ),
I posted scripture that proves there is no baptism without repentance, hence; no babies...And there’s plenty more that I didn’t post...What ought be interesting to you guys is that same scripture is in the Catholic version of the bible, but apparently it’s not...Your own bible shows you that you don’t baptize babies...
I don’t get that whole concept—instead of me giving you a gift, I am donating to a charity of MY choosing instead, and assigning your name to it as a “gift”.

actually the Brethern are great people. Anabaptists like the Amish and Mennonites.
And they do work among the world’s poorest peoples helping them help themselves and teaching them to run businesses and feed themselves. Very hands on.
