Pray for Our American Heroes and Nation
2/21/13 | Jeanbl

Exodus 14:13 . . . “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. . . 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

TOPICS: Prayer
KEYWORDS: military
Dear LORD, I thank YOU that YOU are the same yesterday, today and forever…Amen. Dear LORD, as the Israelites looked to YOU for SALVATION; YOU invite all who call upon the name of the LORD to do the same. We pray for our men and women in the Military. Dear LORD, direct their eyes toward the Power of YOUR MIGHT…may they fear less, stand strong, receive Salvation, and in quietness and confidence see YOU move. Be for them a double wall of protection. May the enemies not prevail against them, both physically and spiritually. And LORD, I pray that YOU will bring each and every one across the battle field to their safe haven…even today. And as always, I kneel before YOU for my hearts desire: my Jake and our friend Alek. Amen.

And Dear LORD, YOU have assigned the borders where each of us live. Each place is a “promised land” when YOU are LORD and GOD of our homes. I pray for our America. I also pray for our alley and YOUR blessed homeland, Israel. May the Peace of Jerusalem prosper even today and may the same protection we pray over our soldiers be granted to them in the IDF. We honor YOU above all…Dear Lord, Amen.

Amen to your prayer, Jeanbl. Being off a few days helps us better appreciate this wonderful opportunity to pray together each day. God bless.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!

GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON
THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
