Like the service of General George Washington, we are grateful for our brave men and women who serve now and put themselves in harm’ s way so we may live as free men and women.
Forgive us for burdening the young and the unborn with massive debt accrued from excessive spending of an out-of-control government which has replaced You with a Nanny State. Instead, may we be inspired by these words of George Washington in 1776:
“The fate of unborn Millions will now depend, under God, on the Courage and Conduct of this army—Our cruel and unrelenting Enemy leaves us no choice but a brave resistance, or the most abject submission; this is all we can expect—We have therefore to resolve to conquer or die: Our own Country’s Honor, all call upon us for a vigorous and manly exertion, and if we now shamefully fail, we shall become infamous to the whole world. Let us therefore rely upon the goodness of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Actions…”
Like George Washington, may we have a Declaration of Dependence on Your Providence and never give up on doing right and fighting for the right in spite of overwhelming odds.
May God grant us moral clarity and strength as we recognize that the real battle is the Lord’s (1 Samuel 17:47).

Dear LORD, I pray with my brothers and sisters for this Nation…which was founded on TRUTH, the ETERNAL TRUTH of the GOSPEL and of our GOD..AMEN. OH LORD, I thank YOU for the centuries of fighting men and women who have travailed to keep our country free and to instill TRUTH in a dark world. OH LORD, may we never give up. Forgive our leaders whose compromise forfeits our humility as a Nation to bring you HONOR and THANKSGIVING. Forgive us, YOUR CHURCH, who have allowed political correctness to water down the GOSPEL of TRUTH. OH LORD, raise up once again those who are not only willing to fight for this country, but fight the good fight of FAITH, and keep the course…

On a personal matter, may I get your agreement that our church has favor with the residents of our City and the City Council to purchase an abandoned supper club for our new church? Thank you.
Please pray for a soldier who will be mourning the death of 3 friends tomorrow. He deploys again in the fall.
Dear Heavenly Father, there are so many who feel they are alone. Please reveal your love and support to these wanderers who do not know you are there. Shine the light of your guiding Spirit into the shadows of their minds and hearts and bring them to you for healing of wounds and shedding of despair. Keep them from the evil one who so easily ensnares.

Heavenly Father,
In Your Providence, move the hearts and minds of the City and the City Council to approve the purchase of the supper club, so a new church may be moved there. May the presence of the church be a blessing to the community.
