"Anyone who does not pray to the Lord prays to the devil." Homily of the Holy Father Pope Francis

Thirdly, professing. We can walk as much as we want, we can build many things, but if we do not profess Jesus Christ, things go wrong. We may become a charitable NGO, but not the Church, the Bride of the Lord. When we are not walking, we stop moving. When we are not building on the stones, what happens? The same thing that happens to children on the beach when they build sandcastles: everything is swept away, there is no solidity. When we do not profess Jesus Christ, the saying of Léon Bloy comes to mind: "Anyone who does not pray to the Lord prays to the devil." When we do not profess Jesus Christ, we profess the worldliness of the devil, a demonic worldliness.

[...]

This Gospel continues with a situation of a particular kind. The same Peter who professed Jesus Christ, now says to him: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. I will follow you, but let us not speak of the Cross. That has nothing to do with it. I will follow you on other terms, but without the Cross. When we journey without the Cross, when we build without the Cross, when we profess Christ without the Cross, we are not disciples of the Lord, we are worldly: we may be bishops, priests, cardinals, popes, but not disciples of the Lord.

My wish is that all of us, after these days of grace, will have the courage, yes, the courage, to walk in the presence of the Lord, with the Lord’s Cross; to build the Church on the Lord’s blood which was poured out on the Cross; and to profess the one glory: Christ crucified. And in this way, the Church will go forward.

"Until then (Second Vatican Council) Church doctrine had asserted that, due to Jesus' execution, God had removed the covenant from the people of Israel and transferred it to the Church, the 'true Israel' (Verus Israel). Now the Church accepted the existence of an ongoing covenant between God and the Jewish people, which constituted a major theological breakthrough in its relationship with it."

I would like to see your source. In the meantime, what was Fr. Catalamessa and the Cardinal doing up there in the first place?

“No one shall pray in common with heretics and schismatics.” (The Council of Laodicea, 4th Century).

“You say I made a charge against you. Read more carefully: if you put subject and verb together, you’ll see I did not. I as consciously making an effort not to.”

I recommend you read more carefully and write more carefully, yourself. My verb was “think”, not “charge” as you stated. But, I see from your above sentence, you use the word “charge” quite often and often wrongly.

Good Day.

You don’t worship the serpent.. no one prays to the serpent or cherubims.. Mary is worshipped.. she has special days- maybe even special Mariology classes... Mary if I am not mistaken is sinless in RCC. The coronation in Revelation is about Israel unless Mary is queen of Israel (maybe because we know she is called the queen of heaven).. only Enoch and Elijah that I remember are up in heaven without dying. The bible doesn’t discuss her death not because she didn’t die but because she isn’t important to our salvation. Certainly a miracle like Enoch or Elijah would have been recorded. The bible teaches us Jesus and the Holy Spirit make mediation and intercession for us. Thats 2/3 of the Trinity mediating to the Father for us.. That is in the bible.. Not making it up.. Why go to those nonomnicient dead people when you have Christ and the Holy Spirit living in you to mediate?

Fatima is a hoax perpetrated on the RCC by Satan who can transform into angels of light- 2 Corinthians 11:14
rosary ain’t biblical. In fact Christ talks about vain repetitive prayer in Mathew 6..(along with how to pray basics)
praying to Marys immaculate heart ain’t biblical.
Neither is Mary ‘s asumption- nor is praying to holy queen, mother of mercy- nor the prayer that starts out Queen of the holy rosary.

Lots of RC practices in that one little book- the manual for praying the rosary with so much not in the Word of God...

Fatima will drag some of the elect to hell....

Scripture doesn't prohibit repetitive prayer. It prohibits VAIN repetition. Unless you're capable of judging hearts you don't know whether Catholics are vain in prayer. Scripture contains many examples of repetitive prayer. Jesus prayed the same prayer three times in the garden and the psalms are full of repetitive prayer.

You don’t worship the serpent.. no one prays to the serpent or cherubims.. Mary is worshipped

Without intending disrespect, you are not qualified to state who I do or don't worship. Are you privy to the words and sentiments of my silent prayer?

she has special days

"Special days" don't mean the individual is worshiped any more than we worship secular figures on national holidays. If you can understand the concept of honoring the sacrifice of our military on national holidays then you can understand the concept of honoring important figures in salvation history. If I give thanks to God for the apostles who were martyred for the faith, or for Mary's faith in saying yes with no husband, or for Joseph caring for a child not his own, that's hardly worship. It's thanking God for his goodness and for giving us so many examples of faith-filled people in salvation history.

The coronation in Revelation, taken IN CONTEXT, occurs immediately after the Ark (Mary is the Ark of the New Covenant in Catholic theology, just as Luke tells us by his parallels to 2nd Samuel) appears in heaven. Later in the same chapter we learn that among her offspring are those who hold to the testimony of Jesus.

I'm not out to change your beliefs. That's the work of the Holy Spirit. I'm just here to speak the truth when others lie about Catholic beliefs.
