Does anyone have any pictures of Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi receiving communion?
Dangus

Posted on 03/20/2013 7:45:56 AM PDT by dangus

Baby-killing advocates Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi have told the press that they received communion at the papal mass. And I've seen loads of pictures of both at the papal mass. Seeing how the big news story their presence spurs is whether they'd receive communion, is there any evidence that they did? It's not like both have not directly lied about their relationships with the Catholic faith.

Please understand that I am not making an assertion that they did NOT. I am only trying to find confirmation that they DID.

If they received Communion, there should be a five-yard penalty for illegal receiver.

The Pope said supporters of abortion will not receive communion.
So either the Pope is lying or Biden and Pelosi are lying
or
the Pope had know idea who they were and they lied about who they were to receive communion.

Biden, Pelosi take communion despite threatened backlash

I read elsewhere that a Vatican spokesman reported that Pope Francis did not personally distribute communion as that was assigned to 500 priests assisting at the mass. So there will be the "out" that the priest who actually distributed to the baby-killers Biden and Pelosi had no knowledge of their public activities.

So either the Pope is lying or Biden and Pelosi are lying

That's ridiculous. There were 200,000 people at the Mass. The Holy Father had more important things to do than watch over those two idiots. If they received the sin is theirs and no one else's.

Where is The Catholic Church in this? Where is the Vatican denying this?

Because the Catholics are not denying this actually took place, then we must assume the worst. That this actually happened.

Ohhh - the horror! The outrage that Biden and Pelosi took Holy Communion! But isn’t the real tragedy the fact that The Catholic Church tolerates and permits this?

If they received the sin is theirs and no one else's.

Precisely. The most fervent atheist can receive communion if they choose. None are turned away if they seek the elements. It is up to the penitent to be in a state of grace, not the priest to determine it.

The sin of unrepentant abortionists is on their heads. If Biden and Pelosi received they are in mortal danger. For these and other plunderers the appearance of propriety is more important than the reality. They would rather burn in hell than lose their earthly status.

I have several HD photos of Biden taken at a goat farm in Vermont at midnight. They’re not pretty! I also have some snaps of Pelosi when she was younger and performing at a nightclub in Tijuana with a rather disinterested donkey. For sale, but if you call in the next ten minutes I’ll throw in some close-ups of Anthony Weiner’s wiener!

The unrepentant sinner who takes Holy Communion calls down judgment upon himself.

Would you like a return of the Inquisition?

Too bad there is not a warning about that before every communion service. It might make all people reexamine their lives. Most good Christians do examine it daily or at least before taking communion.

I think most pro-abortion people don't’ really believe in God, but say they do for political purposes. Others have made up their own version of who God because they don't like who God is; they don't want to submit to His authority. Thus they make themselves a false Idol.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

If what you say is true, then why this....

“Vice President Biden and Nancy Pelosi should certainly not receive Communion, either at the papal installation or anywhere else,” said the Rev. Frank Pavone, founder of Priests for Life, a U.S.-based Catholic anti-abortion organization.

If they shouldn't receive it - THEN DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM.

I think the real tragedy in the Catholic Church is that not enough of the parishioners "take it upon themselves" to pray, attend Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and Confession. The pope had some 200,000 at the Mass; singling out a couple of bozos (who "possibly" could have repented beforehand, and thus should be allowed Holy Communion anyway) would have turned the Mass into a circus, complete with Swiss Guards ushering them out if they made a scene. The right thing was done. Biden and Pelosi need prayers. Pope Francis needs prayers. We all do.

I'm glad you brought up the church in Corinth. Paul taught that if the CHURCH knew of sin in it's midst, they were to confront the sinner. If the sinner didn't repent, the whole church would confront them. If they still didn't repent, THROW THEM OUT!

Now lets watch and see if anything is done here. My money says NO! It has been this way for a hundred years. IMO, it's why the church is disintegrating before our eyes.

Now I will wait for the obligatory "Catholic basher" flames. Everyone seems more interested in covering up the church's shortcomings than discussing them. The church government won't confront open sin in the pew in fear of running someone off that may tithe. I think Kennedy proved that. I bet Pelosi gives a pretty penny to her Parish.

True. The Pope and priests will not pass judgment and they will not determine the place and time. They’ve delivered the teaching and those without souls choose not to listen. On the judgment day they will be held accountable and there will be no second chance.

Actually I am not a Catholic. I went to Catholic grade and high School but today I belong to an Evangelical Free Church. So your not Catholic bashing me. Maybe xCatholic bashing.

I feel the same frustration you do. It is part of the reason I left the church. As to the question of not letting biden and pelosi take communion; that would have set up precedent what will happen to people who not only sin by making evil laws, but lead others into sin. My guess is that the new pope wanted to start in peace. Like all parents do, you lay down the rules and then enforce them. Hopefully he will make it clear who can and cannot take communion and then enforce it. That is my prayer.

I was angry at the church a long time because of many things. Today I realize no church has it all right. I don't believe in many of the Catholic Churches beliefs, but they believe in the Trinity and other things I do believe in. I have friends who today have bibles and go to Catholic bible study. The church is changing and I know my friends are right with God according to scripture. The Christian and Catholic Churches are under attack and we better stick together. It will strengthen us to be as one even with our differences. My parents church is Assembly of God and I don't share many of their beliefs, but I know they are right with God by their testimony and actions.

So, give any Satanist who asks for one a blessed Host and let them call down judgment on themselves. After all, if the Priest isn't responsible for protecting the Sacrament itself from one type of person intent on mocking and abusing the Sacrament why should he protect the Hosts from Satanists intent on doing the exact same thing?

I'm sure there are people who believe that with a blessed Host in addition to a crossroads at midnight they could learn to play a premier Blues guitar. So, accomodate them as well. Let anyone who asks have a blessed Host and give it a shot.

Lorzy, the Blues sho needs all the help it can get as high yella Bluegrass passes itself off as Blues these days.
