The word of the LORD that came to Joel son of Pethuel.
Hear this, you elders; listen, all who live in the land. Has anything like this ever happened in your days or in the days of your forefathers? Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation. What the locust swarm has left the great locusts have eaten; what the great locusts have left the young locusts have eaten; what the young locusts have left other locusts have eaten. (Joel 1:1-4)
I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. (Joel 2:25-26)

Merciful Father, we come to You and ask You to grant us Your peace.
Lord, as we continue to hear reports of shootings at military bases, we say a special prayer for protection against these attacks. Help our military in this, Father.
Father, we pray for Your church in Iraq, that You would not allow Islamic extremists to drive them out from that country. Strengthen and increase Your people, from within their traditional communities and from without.
Father, once You sent among Israel Your great army - the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm. Because of the sin of Your people, they devoured their harvests. But You repaid them for the years the locusts had eaten, and gave them plenty to eat until they were full. And so, Lord, we take hope that after You have redeemed our sins, You will redeem also our mistakes, our disappointments, our wasted time. You will repay us for the years the locusts have eaten, and satisfy us fully; never again will we be shamed. O LORD, our God who works wonders for us, You redeem and restore what was lost, and we praise Your Name through Jesus Christ our King, Amen.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE "Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod" William Billings Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia (Click)
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen. |

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

...Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation.
Dear LORD, what is it that this America would tell their children. Oh that it would be the PRAISE and GLORY of YOUR NAME. Oh that it would be the Prayers and Petitions of a people who TRUST and KNOW their GOD. Oh that it would be unending THANKSGIVING for blessings and providences that never ended. This is our prayer for our children, this is our prayer over our soldiers, this is our prayer within our churches. Restore us Dear LORD, in Love and Unity, as ONE NATION, UNDER GOD...forever and ever..Amen.
