Our Loving Father,

We Love to Sing Thy Praises, O Lord, and Exalt Thine Attributes and Thy Name! We are So Thankful for Thee, and for the Truth and Comfort of Thy Word. 'Thy Word is a Lamp unto my Feet and a Light unto my Path.' (Ps.119:105) Most of All, we are Grateful for Christ, 'in Whom we Live, and Move, and have our Being.' (Acts 17:28) May we Cling to Thee, Love Thee, and be Like Thee as we Walk through this World.

For our Courageous Military, our Hearts Desire Your Very Best! May Every Blessing, Enablement, and Grace-Gift of Heaven be theirs. May Jehovah-Jesus Keep them, and be the Shade upon their Right Hand. (Ps.121:5) We Ask that our Warrior-King will Defend them and Fight at their Side. May Great Victories be theirs, through the Power of Jesus' Name.

Your Excellency, we Cry Out for Forgiveness for our Backslidden Land. Please Return us, Father, to our Founder's Precepts and Ideals. Please Draw us, Gracious Lord, to our Only Hope, Jesus Christ. May Your Spirit Awaken Many Hearts and Grant them Salvation, through Grace.

Thank You, our Abba, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. We Pray All Things through the Name of Christ, Who Alone is our Worthiness and Eternal Life. In His Beautiful Name, for the Glory and Honor of the King, amen.

Praying your beautiful prayer in agreement with you, KM. May the Lord be gracious to America and to Israel, and may the Name of Jesus Christ be glorified both now and evermore.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!

GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON
THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Let It Go

March 24, 2013

Many years ago, when a young friend asked if he could borrow our car, my wife and I were hesitant at first. It was our car. We owned it, and we depended on it. But we soon felt convicted to share it with him because we knew that God wanted us to care for others. So we handed the keys over to him, and he traveled to a church 30 miles away to conduct a youth rally. The meeting was used by the Lord to bring teens to Christ.

Jesus instructed His disciples to take another man’s donkey. The Son of God told His men to “loose it and bring it” to Him (Mark 11:2). If someone objected, they were to say, “The Lord has need of it,” and they would then be permitted to lead it away. That donkey carried Christ into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday.

There’s a lesson here for us to consider. We all have things that we hold dear. We may have thought, I could never part with that. It may be a new truck, a coat, some other possession, or our precious few free hours during the week. Will we be open to give when someone obviously needs something we have?

If you sense that the Spirit is speaking to you, let your time or possession go, as the owner released his animal to Jesus. He will then be glorified as He deserves!

Make me a channel of blessing today,
Make me a channel of blessing, I pray;
My life possessing, my service blessing,
Make me a channel of blessing today. —Smyth
God gives us all we need, so we can give to others in their need.

Say, “The Lord has need of it,” and immediately he will send it here. —Mark 11:3

Let your mighty hand and outstretched arm, O Lord, be our defense; Your mercy and loving-kindness in Jesus Christ, your dear Son, our salvation; Your true and holy word our instruction; Your grace and Holy Spirit our comfort and consolation, Until the end and in the end. — John Knox, Scottish reformer

Dear LORD, may this prayer cover our military men and women...Amen.
