1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen

“Heavenly Father, we bow our heads and thank You for Your love. Accept our thanks for the peace that yields this day and the shared faith that makes its continuance likely. Make us strong to do Your work, willing to heed and hear Your will, and write on our hearts these words: ‘Use power to help people’. For we are given power not to advance our own purposes, nor to make a great show in the world, nor a name. There is but one just use of power, and it is to serve people. Help us to remember it, LORD, Amen”……President George H.W. Bush, Inaugural Address 1989 Dear LORD, I pray for our Mighty Military and the quality of work they give as they serve our country. They train hard, they live hard, they work hard, and this is to keep us safe and free. OH LORD, the greatest act of service this world ever beheld and the universe ever audienced was how YOU laid aside YOUR MIGHTY POWER and humbled YOURSELF and took on the form of man, and died, not for YOURSELF but for us in complete and abandoned sacrifice. OH that the world would give YOU the HONOR as we give our fallen heroes. But there again, GLORY BELONGS TO YOU, it need not be given to YOU. Bless thank YOU for the service of the fallen, we pray for the one who may face that very door today, may he have walked in the PATH of SALVATION so that he will be with YOU in Paradise. Thank YOU. Dear LORD, make America once again that kind of country that is no determined to serve its self through the suffering of her people, but a country that truly leads with the HEART OF CHRIST…we ask in HIS MIGHTY NAME, “JESUS”…Amen.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!

GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON
THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
