Mark Wahlberg wants church clean-up after sex scandal
MSN Entertainment ^ | March 20, 2013

Posted on 04/02/2013 4:58:19 PM PDT by Alex Murphy

He tells the Sydney Morning Herald, "I'm just glad that it's all coming to light so we can clean up the church so these things aren't happening any more. These are horrible things. Paedophiles or what have you hiding behind the cloth needs to be dealt with and addressed. But my faith will never waver because of people who are weak in the flesh." Wahlberg adds of his religious lifestyle, "Being a Catholic and also being a husband and a parent definitely makes me think a little bit longer and harder about the (movie) choices I make, but being an artist I've got to be able to have the freedom to try things that I want to do. So I just weigh those decisions up. Everything comes in to play."

I think Boogie Nights may have been the turning point for him. Seriously, he was pretty bad before then and even did some time. God works in mysterious ways remember. Perhaps God chose him to be in Boogie Nights as a wake up call. God is above all remember. I know some don’t believe that God is in charge of everything but he is.

I loved him in Invincible, the movie based on the true story of Philadelphia native turned Philadelphia Eagle walk-on Vince Papale.

The Catholic Church as an institution has neither admitted of its homosexual sin, nor repented.

“The Catholic Church as an institution has neither admitted of its homosexual sin, nor repented.”

The Catholic Church is not guilty of any sin. Many men in it have committed terrible sins, but the Church committed none.

The Catholic faith does not permit homosexual sin, period. These homo priests and their sympathizers should be excommunicated.

The Catholic Church is not guilty of any sin.

Other than moving known child molesting priests from one parish to another, the Roman Catholic Church is innocent.

The Catholic Church didn’t even do that. Certain Bishops, however, did.

I cannot listen to that song or “Jesse’s Girl” without that scene coming to mind.

Ted is a great movie. The addition of Sam Jones killed me, due to the fact when I was growing up Flash Gordon was my favorite movie. Not for the weak at heart for drug, alchohol use and lot’s of swearing. But it is funny.

Amen! Right on Gumdrop.

Here is where the problem started:

Liberal admissions policies in the seminaries lead to the idea that those seminarians leaning gay are the same as those leaning straight because after all they were both going to be celibate.

Turns out that those with homosexual leanings have a lot of other problems as well including mental health disease and pedophilia.

Perverts are in every faith. But the Catholics are the only ones sued because that’s where the money is.

You and any other truly God fearing person here who thinks this motorized cardboard box (M.W) even knows what the word ‘repent’ means are nuts! Here’s the warning about the movie ‘Ted’ from the website IMDB. You can actually go there and read his ‘repentant’jokes.

Regardingthe schools, there are more than 10,000 independent school districts in the United States. In August there are always empty classrooms that have to be manned. Common practice to hire new teachers with no questions asked. Where a teacher is asked to move on, his personal files are purged because the districts want no liability.

Well, the Church has been infected by a society that is on the verge of creating something called “same-sex marriage.” Unlike many Protestant bodies, however, it refuses to accept it. The infestation of homosexual priests went along with “clown masses,” and the increase in the number of marriage annulments. The Church is, however, trying to correct these abuses, just as it did other abuses after the Council of Trent in the 16th Century.

The people in the theater were laughing for five minutes after that scene. It still makes me laugh.
