Father, we pray for our military, that You would keep their hearts and minds in peace; let them be stayed on You.
We pray that the same grace will be upon their families; help them to commit those they love to You.
Lord, You told us not to let our hearts be troubled, not to be worried or afraid. Help us to trust in You, to trust in God, that our hearts may be at rest. In Your Father's house there are many rooms, and You have gone there to prepare a place for us. Because You have gone and prepared a place for us, You will come back and take us to be with You, that we also may be where You are. We know the way to that place, for You are the way, and the truth, and the life. You came into this world to give us light, to give us life to the full, and we thank You for the great love You have lavished on us, and we pray in Your Name – Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Dear LORD, whenever I think of my own boy heading out to service, this song resonates in my heart and in my head as I lean on YOU not only for the promise of a Home with YOU someday…but the Hope that I will see him again too. OH JESUS..I HOLD ON TO YOU IN PRAYER that if and when the day ever comes where we will be separated, I could have this assurance: IN CHRIST THERE ARE NO GOODBYES. So, once again, I pray for my Jake.
OH LORD, I pray in thanksgiving for all those fallen soldiers who have died under the banner of SALVATION and the Flag of the United States. I pray for their families that comfort and peace and joy will keep them strong and faithful.
