Pray For Our American Heroes and Our Nation

My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,

In 1775, Boston was ground zero for the start of the American Revolution and the cradle for the birth of our nation. And such is told in folklore, as the British came from Boston to attack Lexington and Concord, Paul Revere gave warning that night of April 18 till the dawn of April 19.

In Boston of 2013, we are still under the attack as more blood was shed by an act of terror, killing and maiming the innocent, and putting our liberties in peril.

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

May this latest evil of the slaying of innocents bring us to our knees and look up to You, the only security of our souls as well as our freedoms. May Your Spirit comfort all those who mourn and give us hope of seeing our loved ones, again, when we are raised from the dead in the last days.

May You protect our brave men and women, whether in the military or first responders, who put themselves in harm’s way to keep us safe and rescue us from peril. May we guard and cherish the freedoms You have given us and use our liberty wisely.
