Actually, that is what I am doing. The assignment states that I am to listen to another person’s thoughts on these questions. Now, would you care to answer any of them? I am particularly interested in the last one: Do you believe in the existence of God? If so, why? If not, why not?

All I know is that I have seen the exact same post several times and some of the questions are not about the subject but about the opinions of freepers.
These questions are more apropos of a psychology course than a philosophy course.

I am sorry. I did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable. Actually, your answer was helpful. As I have stated in other posts, I am a Christian. For this paper, I am to write on the “other side of the story.” Since I am a Christian, I am needing to hear other people’s thoughts on this—thoughts that may be contrary to mine. Do you have any other thoughts on this topic that you wouldn’t mind sharing? I am interested in hearing them.

One of the faults of Christian doctrine has been the following of Platonic models by early patristics in distorting the gospel doctrines given by Christ to his Apostles (including Paul), which has resulted in Roman and Reformers' catholicism, a deep flaw in the transmission of anti-Nicene thought.
Why don't you do a paper on the wedding of Platonism with Scriptural doctrine, and see how it has diluted the "gospel" as usually preached today?
You might find that a very interesting and fruitful ground of study.
