Our Father In Heaven

Hallowed Be Your Name.
We Lift Up Our Nation To You Today.
We Ask that You lead Us and Guide Us,
And Grant Your Precious Wisdom to Our Nation's Leaders.
We Ask Particularly that You Inspire Our leaders,
With regards to the Middle East.
Give back the desire for integrity and honesty in our dealings with our allies.

We ask that You open the eyes of Your people.
Please, we Pray,
Give Us All Insight to Your Will For Our Land.
We pray for Our Nations Economy.
We pray for those without jobs, that You will bring back Our Nation's Productivity and Initiative.
We ask You to help find dignified and appropriate work for those who seek it.
We pray for Our Free Enterprise System,
that it will not be submerged in outmoded and discredited socialism.
Father, We Pray for Our Beloved American Heroes and Their Families.
We Pray for Strong and Godly Wisdom to Guide Us.
Touch Every American's Heart,
So That Each and Every One Will Say A Prayer For Our American Heroes,
Lifting Them and Their families up in Prayer and Support,
Let Nobody Forget Their Sacrifice For our Freedom!

Keep Us Vigilant,
In Jesus Name.

Yielding when I need to be Yielding.
Give me the full Support and Prayers
of my People and my Government,
so I will not feel abandoned or alone.
Give me Wisdom and Power in the face of evil,
and Compassion and Kindness when it is called for
Lead me not into temptation,
and guard my heart and mind from depression,
anxiety,
loneliness,
frustration,
worry,
false religion,
and evil thoughts,
that I may be a righteous warrior for You and My People.

We cannot afford to stop praying till we have actually prayed. . . And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

OH LORD GOD, not only do we ask that YOU bring us to our knees, but we ask that YOU keep us on our knees until we have PRAYED with diligence and purpose and most especially within the borders of YOUR WILL. OH LORD, we lift up our men and women in the military…OH GOD, let us wrestle with time, with interferences, with whatever it is that would keep us from prayer, until like Jacob we can get up knowing we received the BLESSING for them…Amen and Amen. OH LORD, keep us from shaking our heads at our country and our fists at our leaders and may be instead, with heads in hands, humble ourselves before YOUR SOVEREIGN GRACE and MERCY…Amen and Amen.

Tough To Love
April 25, 2013

Years ago I was a camp counselor for some rebellious boys. I found it challenging to deal with their behavior. They would mistreat the animals at the petting zoo and occasionally fight among themselves. So I adopted a calm and firm approach to leading them. And although they often exasperated me, I always made sure their physical needs were taken care of.

Even though I had a kind and loving exterior, I often felt on the inside that I was just “putting up with them.” That caused me to prayerfully reflect on how a loving heavenly Father provides for His rebellious children. In telling the story of the Israelites during the exodus, Paul said, “For a time of about forty years [God] put up with their ways in the wilderness” (Acts 13:18). In Greek “put up with” most likely means to patiently provide for people’s needs despite an ungrateful response.

Some people may not react favorably to our efforts to show care and concern. When this happens, it may help to remember that God is patient with us. And He has given us His Spirit to help us respond with love to those who are hard to love or who are ungrateful (Gal. 5:22-23).

Give us Your patience, Lord, for anyone in our lives who is difficult to love.

I want the love that sweetly bears
Whate’er my Father’s hand may choose to send;
I want the love that patiently endures
The wrongs that come from enemy or friend. —Anon.

Be as patient with others as God has been with you.
