Sounds like Pope Francis read the nuns the riot act ...

In the politest possible way. I thought it was very well done.

The Brazilian Cardinal seemed to just want everyone to pretend to agree, and most important, make sure he was properly cc'd on everyone's memos. Very time-serving faceless-bureaucrat of him, if that's what he's after.

The reason I agree with what the Brazilian Cardinal did is what Jesus said about putting a millstone around your neck and throwing yourself into the sea...

When people are bad examples and corrupt children -- this is what Jesus was referring to.

So the Brazilian Cardinal did not put a millstone around the necks of these nuns and throw them into the sea. But that is almost necessary to try to save children from the corruptive influences of these nuns

The LifeSiteNews.com article had a picture of a nun in a t-shirt that said Nuns for Choice.

How much worse can it get when nuns are undercutting the authority of the Church and promoting abortion?
