Isaiah 26:8
O Lord, we Love to Do Your Will!
Our Heart's Desire is to Glorify Your Name.
TOPICS: Prayer; Religion & Culture; Religion & Politics
KEYWORDS: americanheroes; jesus; pray; prayer
Our Merciful Savior-King,
'O Jehovah, God of the Heavenly Armies, Hear my Prayer. I will Call to You whenever Trouble Strikes, and You will Help me. With All my Heart I will Praise You! I will Give Glory to Your Name Forever, for You Love me So Much. You are Constantly So Kind! You have Rescued me from Deepest Hell.' (Ps.84:8 86:7,12,13) Thank You for Saving us, and Forgiving us of All our Sins. 'Be Exalted, O Lord, in Your Strength. We will Sing and Praise Your Might!' (Ps.21:13)
O God, our Loving, Great King, we Intercede for our Dear Troops. May Heaven's Gifts and Blessings be Granted to our Men. May they Rest Securely and Safety in Your Strong Right Hand. Please Fill Every Man with Jesus' Power and Strength. May Your Presence Surround them, and Your Spirit Guide them, Lord. For our Troops, we Pray Psalm 76:5-8,12, Asking that this Scripture be Accomplished upon their Enemies: 'The Mightiest of our Enemies are Conquered. They Lie before us in the Sleep of Death; not One can Lift a Hand Against us. When you Rebuked them, God of Jacob, Steeds and Riders Fell. No Wonder You are Greatly Feared! You Pronounce Sentence upon them from Heaven; the Earth Trembles and Stands Silently before You. God should be Reverenced and Feared, for He Cuts Down Princes, and Does Awesome Things to the Kings of the Earth.'
Thank You for Hearing us, our Magnificent, Everlasting God. 'O Lord, we Love to Do Your Will. Our Heart's Desire is to Glorify Your Name.' (Is.26:8) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of the King of kings, amen.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE "Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod" William Billings Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia (Click)
IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation. From the brave, untrained volunteers who strode into Valley Forge that Winter arose the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, world-wide defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants
AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen. |
