I’ve had to spend a lot of time away from the computer today, will get back to a bunch’o’pinging as needed in a bit. Thanks for all alerts.
Applause. Let's not panic. We know what the Good Book says and what the Church teaches.
Well, we've lost the wisdom of Cardinal Mahoney in the hierarchy /s. How could we possibly...
That is a distinct possibility. But the pro-abort people never thought about that. They’ve deluded themselves into believing heterosexual people, liberal or not, will be happy to have a homosexual child. They couldn’t be more wrong.
I think it goes even deeper than that. Whether it is conscious or not, they want to NOT feel guilty about what they do with their bodies. If society can be convinced that homosexual acts are "normal" and that homosexuals are no different than heterosexuals, then that ingrained sense of wrongness can be eliminated (they think). Most gay men have no desire whatsoever to be "married" though lesbians may be slightly more inclined toward it, but that really is not the goal of all this. Total acceptance and no negative criticism is the goal and any monetary benefits from the government is gravy. If they can turn the negatives BACK onto those who think homosexual sex is sinful and make THEM the bad guys, even better!

Read the tag.
That is exactly why they hijacked that word. They hoped that labeling the behavior with a frothy name would cleanse it and make it seem lighthearted and innocent.
Here is Ken Curtis (Festus), singing the Caisson song, with some stage back up.

Spot on, Mark!
The book of Revelation gets our protestant brothers and sisters all whipped up, but the reality is, the Book of Revelation is nothing more than the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ during a time when HE comes again that is unknown to us for good reason.
Foolish people read the book of Revelation as a secret code that reveals to them the end of time as if they are prophets of doom!
You mentioned hormones in the womb. I am astonished by how few have seen that research. I brought the short version (in a book called “Mind Sex”) to a gathering composed of both gay and straight couples. Most of the gay couples were not happy. I think that reaction was the beginning of my thoughts on the whole “normal” thing. They didn’t want to accept that they are gay because of a “birth defect”.
I found that research fascinating because it also accounts for other behavioral abnormalities/extremes: (i )extremely passive personalities; (ii) extremely aggressive personalities; (iii) persons with strong left or right brain personalities that run counter to what is normal for their gender.
