Here is what I know: God is bigger than my sin. And God is sovereign over Supreme Court decisions and shifting worldviews. He has had the first and he will have the last word on all matters of sin and grace.
The Church, Christs bride, is a God-made institution and will sustain herself in majesty in times of persecution or revival. Context matters not. Providence will paint the walls of this worldview.
Who Owns Your Heart
But Jesus, the Word made flesh, will not be drawn and quartered. He came to fulfill the whole law, every jot and tittle. And he wants your whole life relinquished to him. Any theology that denies Gods moral law, and then domesticates sin by its absence, does not have Christs atoning love, Gods justifying pardon, or the Holy Spirits kind company. The Red Letters of the New Testament, unmoored from the moral law of the whole Bible, offer only half the God-man, mangling the gospel by wrenching salvation from sin and belief from repentance. Even the demons believed in Jesus and it only sent them straight to hell. All dangerous lies pack a dollop of truth. That was true when Jesus walked the earth, and it is true today. That we are saved from our sin simply reveals the obvious: God was right all along. No shame in truth that loves like this.

First, I like Rosaria both her testimony and her as a person, however she has confounded the first and second use of the law. She is absolutely right that grace is bigger than sin even homosexuality, but that does not make civic policy. Where the first use of the law demonstrates my need for a savior, the second or civic use of the law is to order society. We punish murders, rapists, thieves and cannibals and we are right to do so. The question is not will Christ saves sinners even homosexuals, but if the people of God and His magistrates will serve Him according to His commands for the ordering of society. If we refuse to so, we are violating the great commission by refusing to teach what God has commanded. The DOMA ruling by the court is defiance against the crown rights of Christ and a blasphemy it declares that His authority is not absolute and He is not LORD!
if government makes you choose between God or government, choose God.
Being a real patriot means supporting your country always, and supporting your government when they deserve it.
