Catholic Bishop in Dominican Republic: Obama's Gay Ambassadorial Nominee 'Will Have to Leave’

(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama’s openly gay ambassadorial nominee to the Dominican Republic, James “Wally” Brewster,” faces strong opposition from the conservative and largely Catholic island nation, where Bishop Pablo Cedano says if Brewster becomes the U.S. ambassador, “he is going to suffer and will have to leave.”

On Monday, Catholic, evangelical, and other opponents in the Dominican Republic organized and took part in what were billed as “Black Monday” protests, whereby participants donned black clothing and set black decorations on cars and buildings to protest the nomination of Brewster, who is a long-time homosexual activist and fundraiser for the Democratic Party and President Obama.

Monsignor Cedano, who is the auxiliary Catholic bishop of Santo Domingo, said in early July that the selection of Brewster showed “a lack of sensitivity, of respect by the United States.” Cedano also, in reference to opposition against Brewster, according to the Associated Press, said, “I hope he does not arrive in the country because I know, if he comes, he is going to suffer and will have to leave.”

When you keep insulting people, they eventually take it personally.

American bishops could take a lesson from him, particularly when it comes to confronting, and ultimately excommunicating, those abortion loving Catholic politicians.

You know Obama picked a gay ambassador for this country for this reason.

I suppose Obama will offer an ambassadorship to some gay Republican, and/or someone Repubs would find hard to confront. Mary Cheney? Then if the Dominicans oppose her, Obama'll challenge the Repubs to defend her.

Oh, that’s a fascinating suggestion! I expect a homosexual Republican could be found who would take the low-prestige assignment to the DR in order to make a Statement for “Equality.”

The Benghazi Ambassador was an openly homosexual with a like staff and he was sodomized to death by protestors and bayonets. Is this why this scandal has been covered-up since Hillary has presidential ambitions and appointed a known homosexual to Benghazi?

I expect that’s one reason, although Hillary would be equally covered with slime if Amb. Stevens had not been homosexual. Moslems, after all, don’t seem to care whom (or what) they sodomize.

I don’t know what that reason was but they sure threw it back in his face.

“Moslems, after all, don’t seem to care whom (or what) they sodomize.”

That’s actually not true. I have read where just before they put to death a homo in their country they sodomize them. I have no idea why. Makes no sense to give them the death penalty for being homosexual then do a homosexual act on them before they die. Then again what ever makes sense with muzzies?

These are people who want sex with their wives’ dead bodies. Nothing makes sense.
