Prayer request for my (big)brother Bill - update at #105

My older brother Bill is battling esophageal cancer which has moved into his stomach. He is in good spirits but I am beginning to think he is putting on a brave face for all of us. The red cross has brought my nephew Erin back from deployment in Korea for a visit and I planned to take them into Chicago for a day at Navy Pier yesterday but he wasn’t well enough for the trip. Please keep my big brother in your prayers today.

Maybe more than a brave face but a thankfulness for having time for preparations and goodbyes. Cancer took my father and I remember he was very pragmatic and he said he'd just play the cards he was dealt without complaint. My prayers for your family to be able to deal with both the best and the worst.
