Prayers sent for your brother! As a GERD sufferer this was always in the back of my mind (turns out I’ve contracted a different cancer).
I pray he gets through this infection and over the cancer. God bless you all.
Please Lord, send your perfect comfort, healing and help to this brother and his family.

Your continued prayers are again requested. My brother’s doctors have informed him that although his weight is up and he is able to eat again, his heart and lungs are not strong enough so he is no longer a candidate for surgery. Without surgery there is a 60-70% chance that the cancer will return. The only remaining treatment will be radiation.
He seems to be considering it as the end of the road so he needs prayers for the next difficult steps in his journey.
