For those who bought into this nonsensical story ... surprise ... you have been duped by the very media you detest.

I cannot believe the number of threads that were posted and posters falling for this.

We just saw this on the evening news and were hollering at the tv how they were twisting his words.

There will not be women priests. Not going to happen.

As for gay priests, we know that there have been and still are gay priests. If they are celibate, then it doesn't matter who they are celibate with.

If they are not celibate, that is a sin. And if they are not celibate with an altar boy, then we'll hear all about it, except for the part where they're gay.

Again, to quote Archbishop Chaput:
We make a very serious mistake if we rely on media like the New York Times, Newsweek, CNN, or MSNBC for reliable news about religion. These news media simply don’t provide trustworthy information about religious faith—and sometimes they can’t provide it, either because of limited resources or because of their own editorial prejudices. These are secular operations focused on making a profit. They have very little sympathy for the Catholic faith, and quite a lot of aggressive skepticism toward any religious community that claims to preach and teach God’s truth.

The liberal media is never to be trusted on just about everything. Here’s a Lutheran take on the MSM-

I question why Pope Francis gave the interview on the plane. Pope Francis greatly underestimates the meaness and dishonesty of the media.
