We give thanks to You with musical instruments and sing to You a new song, for Your Word is right and all Your work is done in faithfulness.
You love righteousness and justice; the earth is full of Your loving-kindness. You bring the counsel of the nations to nought; You make the thoughts and plans of the peoples of no effect, but Your counsel stands forever, the thoughts of Your heart through all generations. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage. We believe that You chose us as Your heritage and so, we agree with You that we are blessed. No king is saved by the great size and power of his army; a mighty man is not delivered by [his] much strength. A horse is devoid of value for victory; neither does he deliver any by his great power. Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
We are gathered together here and confess to You that our inner selves wait [earnestly] for the You; You are our Help and our Shield, for in You does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in Your holy name. Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You. Specifically, Father, that Your Spirit would guide each and every one of our military men and women into a place of Truth and safety, where they revere and worship You with awe. We pray the same thing for every person in authority in our Nation and for our citizens. You are the God Who saves and this is not too big for You.
Let all the earth fear the Lord [revere and worship Him]; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. AMEN.

Dear Father,
You are generous with Your blessings and Your kindness towards us, Your children, knows no bounds. We are forever grateful to You for Your mercy and protection. We ask that You shelter us, our American heroes, and our country from all evil owing to satan’s destructive hatred of all things sacred. We promise to continue to praise Your name, give abundant thanks, and honor You above all else.
We ask these favors in Jesus’ Holy Name.
