Abortion Activists Rip Out Pews, Spraypaint Profane Graffiti in Catholic Church
Life News ^ | Raimundo Rojas

Posted on 08/04/2013 3:09:10 PM PDT by Morgana

A Catholic Archbishop is savaged in Belgium; protestors at a Catholic Church in Spain block exits and doors; in Chile demonstrators interrupt Mass, demolish confessionals, rip out pews and paint profane sacrilegious graffiti throughout the church.

Pro-abortion feminists under the guise of promoting “choice” carried out these and other attacks in the last few months. Their actions make it seem that they have declared war on the Catholic Church with no regard for parishioners, common decency or law.

Welcome to the pro-choice Jihad.

Many of these radical extremists are enabled, if not directly funded, by an international cabal of pro-abortion organizations with far-reaching and deep-pocketed tentacles. For years groups like the oxymoronically named Catholics For Choice (CFC) have attacked Vatican policy as a way of promoting and demanding legalized abortion in predominantly Catholic pro-life countries.

CFC is the organization that years ago published disseminated a prayer card with the image of our Lady of Guadalupe on one side with a prayer to the Virgin Mary on the other imploring God for the legalization of abortion. There have no sense of morality or shame. What’s worse is that they regularly publish an in-house newsletter (Conscience) that is used almost explicitly to promulgate their misplaced anti-Catholic rage.

They used a recent edition to extol the wisdom behind Roe v Wade and 40 years of abortion on demand. They venerated the US Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in 1973 without mention of late-term abortions, deaths from abortion, sex-selection abortion, unregulated and unhygienic abortion clinics, 55 million dead, Kermit Gosnell, or Tonya Reaves.

Like publishing a ham-salad recipe without mentioning the pig.

In the same recent publication a woman named Joanne Omang also wrote a very dismissive article about the Holy See’s presence at the United Nations in an attempt to further Catholics for Choice’s anti-Vatican campaign in delegitimizing the Vatican’s representation at the UN.

It’s worth noting that in the brief bio under her by-line, the editor mentions that Ms. Omang is a writer of fiction – after reading her piece I would encourage her to keep to that medium and leave journalism to folks with a bit more regard for accuracy. Especially when it deals with something as convoluted and unsettling as the United Nations and global policy.

She does, however, in the course of her harangue, manage to stumble upon one truth when she writes:

Holy See delegates [to the United Nations] are legendary for their tireless attention to detail at UN conferences.

Apparently that’s a bad thing. In Joanne’s worldview the most liberal policies, – those considered offensive in most countries of the world – should be adopted without question or reservation. To do otherwise is deemed oppressive by Ms. Omang and the editors at Conscience.

She augments her venomous assault on the Vatican by regurgitating comments from a tragic New York Times editorial that accused the Holy See of stalling negotiations during the most recent Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) held in New York City in March of this year.

I know that assertion to not be true – I was at the Commission meeting during its entirety.

The purpose of this year’s commission meeting was for the UN to adopt a resolution that would help promote the eradication of violence against women – a very noble cause. During the negotiating phase the Holy See asked that previously agreed upon UN documents such as the Charter of the United Nations and other human rights instruments be reaffirmed.

But because some of these treaties and declarations include language that recognizes the “inherent right to life, liberty and security of persons,” the radical and extreme pro-abortion elements within the European Union and the delegation from the United States wanted them out. The EU and US attempt to promote their failed social experimentation is what caused most of the contention – NOT the Holy See.

Lost on Ms. Omang (and the New York Times) is that it wasn’t just the Holy See who wanted to promote the inherent right to life of all persons – but that so did a few European countries and Arab Countries and African Countries and Latin American countries. Sadder still is that in their never-ending push for abortion – a UN meeting meant to truly help the women of the world became (once again) an abortion-rights-fest.

Ironically it was during this meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women in which one of the regressive-liberal-social-engineering types suggested during the negotiations that girls as young as 6 should be able to “fulfill” their “autonomous sexual and reproductive rights.”

CLICK LIKE IF YOU’RE PRO-LIFE!

Why is that ironic?

Because the malcontents who stormed and destroyed the church in Chile were demonstrating their outrage at an 11-year-old girl who has decided to not abort a child conceived in rape. So much for autonomy.

Proving yet again, and as we have long suspected, that pro-abortion militants aren’t just violent and extreme – they’re also hypocrites.

But mostly violent and extreme.

I wonder why the "news" media don't get as bent out of shape about things like this as they do when an abortion clinic gets trashed and graffiti'd?

Hmmmm.....

Sorry, there is worse to come: I predict that we will see feminists throwing human fetuses at anti-abortion protesters. It will happen.

Everyone of these people and their ilk, to include the OWS, tree huggers, etc etc, do what they do, because they never have to worry about anything happening to them.

I’m not talking about getting arrested. That’s like a badge. And they’ll usually sue and get some type of settlement.

But I’m talking about a genuine, natural ass-whippin’. If that starts happening, a good number of these things will stop.

“pro choice” is not and was never about “choice”.

It is pro (compulsive) abortion. Preemptive euthanasia is a more accurate description.

The hate inside these people is truly beyond the comprehension of normal moral people. The hate must eat at their insides like a cancer.

An usher’s job is more than just shaking hands and smiling. In reality, they form part of the security of the church, quietly, but firmly escorting those who disrupt the preaching, outside of the sanctuary or worship centre.

The disappointing, though not unexpected part is, this will become more and more important, as time goes by and the frequency and force of the attacks increases. His return can’t be far off.

Problem is I don’t think most ushers know this. I think they believe their job is just to seat people and shake hands. Up until now that is all they have had to do.

I wonder how many millions of people claim to be Christian who support the “woman’s choice”....though they won’t say they support abortion. They also won’t discuss the baby’s choice. I pray God wake them up anyway He chooses.

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.  Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies.  Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.  Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight.  Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous.  Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow.  Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be good enough.  Give the world the best you have anyway.
You see, in the analysis it is between you and God.  It was never between you and "them" anyway.

Mother Theresa.

Abortionists and godless Feminazi’s have made their evil choice and unfortunately for them life here on the topside of the earth is the only heaven they will ever experience—and they’re not enjoying it so well. They have had their precious legal abortion approved by the dimwits of the SCOTUS since 1973. This nation is their oyster of innocent baby blood flowing like a river and yet they complain, moan and riot like bats out of hell. Good grief....

Exactly! Few churches train their ushers for this. In several churches that I’ve attended, they are called ‘greeters’, whose job is merely to welcome people to the church. Not only may there be physical attacks, but spiritual attacks by Satanists.

In one church that I sometimes attend on Sunday evenings, whenever the Senior Pastor leaves the worship centre, he is always accompanied by someone who walks him to his office. Not so much a fear of physical attack, but since he is so well known in the city, he is a prime candidate for a ‘scandalous’ attack. (”Meet your son, you are the daddy of my baby!”) There is also the concern of disruptive elements in the service. A number of years ago, there were a group of Satanists, mostly teens, who would often come to the church to disrupt evening services. They would be quickly and quietly, but firmly removed.

I recall that Billy Graham would always have someone go into a room ahead of him, just to ensure there was no one lurking. Part of this was his vow not to ever be alone with a woman who was not his wife or family member. There was also fear of a ‘scandalous’ attack. I was told of a story in a Chicago newspaper, about the ‘scandal’ of Billy Graham and Beverly Shea. It was soon pointed out that ‘Beverly Shea’ was GEORGE Beverly Shea, and the paper quietly retracted the article!

There may also be spiritual attacks launched against churches. A friend told me a story of sitting near the front at a Charismatic church that was spiritually ‘on fire’ , when, what he believes was a witch, came up and sat in the front row. During worship music, she would get up and dance in the most provocative way. He mentioned this to his wife and they both started praying against Satan. She soon had a pained look on her face, scowled at him, then got up and went to the back of the church. After they stopped praying against Satan, she came back to the front row and started it all over again. They would pray against Satan again, and she would go to the back. This went on several times until she ran out of the church in tears.

I have never heard of such things but I suppose it’s true. I know Billy Graham took measures to ensure he was not caught up in something. I never would have guess kids would run in a church and do stuff like that. I would have never dreamed of it when I was a teen.
