Wife just got a phone call with horrible news from niece in Bombay.
Ceiling collapsed in multi-story apartment building in the middle of the night. Very poor area.
Wife's older sister currently is semi-conscious and bleeding. There seems to be no emergency service who will pick her up and family has no vehicle. The next few hours would seem to be critical.
The sister, Margaret, was practically a saint in helping raise my wife as a child. A wonderful person.
Prayers badly needed. Thank you.

This is just outside the Bombay (Mumbai) city limits to the north, a building has partially collapsed and there seem to be no emergency services of any kind attending to the situation!
Sun is just coming up.
Margaret is about 63 and definitely seems to have a head injury. The niece just avoiding getting hit herself.
My wife here is beside herself as you might imagine. Absolute, total, helplessness except prayer.
I pray that God will send His angels to aid all involved, and that His saints will also respond with prayers for their safety and recovery. I especially ask that your wife’s sister is given every assistance she requires. God Bless all of you!!

There apparently were three individual apartments in the building affected by the partial collapse of the floor overhead.
Believe it or not, this is not the first building collapse poor Margaret has experienced!
We hope that as the workday starts that something will be done.
The apartment as I understand it is just a short distance from a well-known business district and train station.
You would think some kind of emergency services or city-utility people could get involved.
