Traditional Russia did not have a separation between Church & State. You are applying a principle of American Federalism, to those to whom it does not apply.
Every nation sets up its own rules. That is the essential attribute of sovereignty & the Law of Nations. (In Russia the suppression of the Church under Communism has now ended.)

After the privations imposed upon people of Faith, during the long Communist nightmare in Russia, I am not really sure that 2 years is excessive for trying to disrupt a religious service. But in any event, it is a Russian matter. As I would not want Russians telling us how to handle criminal justice in America, I do not want to engage in telling Russians how to handle criminal justice in Russia.

If that’s what it takes! Russia is far more Christian & morally upright than what Amerika is these days, especially under Amerika’s first gay pres__ent, 0dumb0!
